This chapter deals with some serious stuff. Let's just say that the hunters are assholes.

Thanks, guys!!!
I did leave this story for a while but with all the hype for HTTYD 3 I just had to come back to it and fix it up, How do you guys like this story so far?
The morning was remarkably cold, a swift breeze was cutting the air and many hunters were staying in their tents, sleeping and trying to stay warm as the north blowing wind brought frozen dew through the air.
The grass and leaves were dusted white with ice and frost, clearly, winter was making itself known to all those in the island and surrounding lands. During the night and into the early morning, snow dragons and dragons of the north were flying overhead, settling on islands to travel more in the winter months. Many were captured by the hunters and cages were filled. All human prisoners were moved to a bared off cave under the island to make room in the cages for more dragons that the men could sell.
If anything it was colder in the cave, the torches mounted on the walls did little to nothing to raise the temperature. Ryll shivered, Bronwin's teeth chattered. Athen was still asleep it seemed, and the three others left her to her sleep. If anything the woman needed it. Her breaths were soft and unlabored for once and her chest rose and fell calmly. Every now and again her eyes would flutter or her nose would scrunch up as if she dreamed.
No one dare touch the cage bar as they were freezing and bitingly cold. Latching onto any heat. One of the hunters had gotten his hand stuck not a few minutes before, providing a little of no entertainment for the Vikings trapped in the cave itself. Ryll had managed to snag a few blankets from a tent when they were moved to the cave, the others were quite grateful for this and thanked her kindly.
The sun was high in the sky and it was a little warmer when the hunters came for her. Athen was pulled harshly to her feet. She seemed to be stronger now, able to walk by herself. The guards were not sure where the returned strength came from but dismissed it and sent her to work, her and Bronwin as well, moving crates and supplies onto the ships, reading them for a market trade the next day where the ships would dock at the Northen Markets port and trade trinkets and such for weapons and food.
The whip was brought out again just an hour later when Athen's strength began to wain. The quick snap of the leather, dragon scale and tooth whip made her yelp in pain and start her work anew. From inside the cave, a young girl winced every time the whip cracked through the icy air.
"This happens every day?" the brown haired man asked. The young girl nodded and winced again when the whip cracked once more. The man frowned his eyebrows, staring down at the ground with one blind eye, he felt a fire of rage in his stomach, fighting to get free in the cold of the cave.
Ryll was confused by the newcomer, he seemed to know Athen well enough - and Ryll hadn't had that sheltered of a life that she didn't know who he was, Anyone in the north and west of the archipelago knew of the dragon hunter Viggo Grimborn. But Ryll also heard of his betrayal of the hunters and with him joining the Dragon riders and their leader the mysterious dragon master who was able to spin lies and win hearts with his silver tongue. People in her village had never seen this dragon master but they all either feared him or secretly were on his side. Th young girl found her voice after a few moments of silence echoed by the cracks of the whip outside of the cave-cage.
"You've seen the dragon master? What is he like?" she asked, The man raised an eyebrow.
"Hiccup? The rider of the night fury?" He asked, Ryll nodded, confused on why a great warrior like the dragon master would have the name of a viking mistake, a Hiccup. "He is smart, witty, creative with his plans, though a little more driven by his heart then his mind" the man continued. "With everything I hear about him from the small villages and such you would think he and his father were each other, Hiccup isn't the big strong warrior that you all think he is but tat does not mean he can't fight for himself".
Viggo was cut off as Athen and Bronwin were returned to the cage. Seeing the horrble condition that the woman was in, her wounds being tended to by Ryll now he decided that they were getting out tonight, no waiting anymore.
Bronwin saw the look on his face.
"You have a way out?" the boy asked, Viggo nodded, "Good because i'm sick of this dump".
Well would you look at that, i'm back to updates, woop!
But really guys thank you for so many reads! 1.6!! I think I died of happiness when I saw that number!!
