Raven and Dexter: An Ever After High Fan Fiction

Chapter 1: The Castleteria Problem

It was another day at Ever After High. I was walking to the castleteria with Madeline as usual. I saw Dexter talking to Daring near the lockers.

"Hey Raven!" he called. He smiled at me.

He had the most perfect teeth in EAH. Well, everyone says it's Daring but I don't see it.

"Hey Dex!" I yelled back.

My heart fluttered. I started to blush.

"Raven," Maddie chimed. "Looks like someone has a crush."

She started to giggle.

"Just a little bit," I said. "Besides he's a royal and I'm a rebel."

"Yes but I thought you wrote your own destiny. He also gave you that love note on True Hearts Day. "

"I know but, he seems to like Cupid more."

"Love with a passion

give from the heart,

Life is a circle

no stop and no start"

"Okay? What does that mean?," I asked puzzled.

"It's riddlish and means that, you should just try to see how things work out."

"I guess I could try."

"Great! Now go on."

"Wait not now!"

"Then when?"

"Probably tomorrow."

I entered the castleteria and waited

in line. I was in back of Duchess. She kept on looking at me with a dirty look in her face.

"What are you looking at?!" I yelled.

"Ugh, don't talk to me!" she yelled.

She turned her back to me.

"Don't talk to her Raven. She's madder than hatter!" Maddie exclaimed.

We started to giggle.

It was finally my turn to get my lunch.

The lunch lady handed me a bowl of porridge. I was going to get it until Duchess snatched it from her before I could get it.

"Sorry, but you rebels are served last. Just admit it, royals are high classed, and you rebels are nothing but low classed,"

Duchess said in her cold voice.

My face turned a bright red. I had an

urging desire to yell at her. I tried not to yell because it would make me evil. It was too late.

"DUCHESS SHUT UP YOU WANNABE!!!"

My hair was surrounded by a purple fire.

The whole castleteria became silent.

Duchess looked at me. Her eye was twitching.

She got her bowl of porridge and shoved it in my face.

The whole castleteria started to crack up.

Dexter was the only one who wasn't laughing.

My eyes became a solid violet color. The flame around my hair grew bigger.

"NEVER UNDERESTIMATE A REBEL!" I yelled. My voice sounded like a monster.

I pushed Duchess so hard, her forehead

banged on the table. She started to cry. Her mascara was running.

Everyone rushed to her. They all looked at me. Most kept on saying,"Nice job Raven." Apple White looked at me. She smiled at me and said,"It's nice that you are becoming who you are supposed to be."

"No. I am not like my mother!"

My eyes went back to normal. The flame disappeared. What had I done?
