Chapter 14: A Trip To The Enchanted Forest!

I sat on the grass to put on my running shoes before I entered the Enchanted Forest. Maddie just took out a pair of cyan sneakers. Maddie put them on and to my surprise, she ran nonstop at an ultra fast speed.

"Oooops... wrong... pair... of........ SNEAKERS!" she yelled taking deep breaths in between each word as she ran.

Maddie tripped on a log, did a flip, then a round-off and landed on the grass doing a split.

"Wooohooo! Again!" she yelled.

I chuckled. 

"Maddie, you better take off those sneakers."

"Okee-dokee."

Maddie took off her sneakers and took out a NORMAL pair to put on.

Maddie stood up as if to see if she was going to do something mad. Well... madder than usual.

"Hat-tastic!" she squealed.

I picked up my hair in a high ponytail.

"Alright, lets do this!"

We sprinted to the Enchanted forest. It smelled like magic and fairydust. One of the trees had A+H inscribed inside of a heart.

"Ashlynn and Hunter are fairy cute together," I said still staring at the tree. I was so entertained that I hit my knee against another tree. It was the same tree I had found Dex singing at when we went out. I really regret breaking up with him.

Next thing I know, a medium sized dragon jumps on me.

"Hey Evermore! How have you been?" I asked in a baby voice.

"Ooooh! Earl Grey and Evermore could have a playdate!" Maddie yelled.

"Lrae Yerg teem Eromreve!" Maddie said.

"Maddie, you do realize you're talking backwards right?" I asked giggling.

"Whoops! Well... tea anyone?" Maddie said as she took out a teacup from her hat.

"Maddie! Lets hocus focus!" I yelled.

"Evermore, could you help us go to the Dark Forest?"

Evermore looked scared and started to tremble.

"Oh right, you can't handle it there. There is dark magic there."

I gave Evermore a hug and she nuzzled my neck.

"Bye," I whispered

"Toodles!" Maddie exclaimed.

We headed for the path that lead us out of the Enchanted Forest but, there was someone blocking the path.

"Apple? Is that you?" I asked.

"Yes and, I know what you're up to," Apple said.

"Wait, Apple pie! Would you mind doing a switch-a-roo with me? I need to help dear ol' pops down at the Tea Shoppe," Maddie said as she jumped up and down.

"Umm, sure,"Apple said oddly.

"Toodaloo!" Maddie yelled as she ran backwards.

"I guess it's just you and me," I said.

Apple nodded.

I explained to Apple the route I chose.

"Oh, so we went the long way last time," Apple said.

"Eeyup."

******* MEANWHILE******

"Oh Dexipie," Cupid called.

" Here I am Cupypie!" Dexter yelled as he ran to hug her.

"Oh Dex, I love you," Cupid said.

"I love you more!" Dexter said back.

Cupid and Dexter were about to kiss until Maddie jumped in between them.

"Hellooooo Dexpid!" Maddie yelled.

"Hey Maddie," both of them said at the same time.

"Awww, we both said it at the same time," they both said again.

Cupid blushed.

"Uh, Cupid, may I tell you something?" Maddie asked.

"Sure," Cupid said.

Maddie grabbed Cupid to an empty corner.

"Cupid! Raven still has a huge hole in her heart. Raven can't forget about Dexter. She is trying to find a cure for the love potion," Maddie said seriously.

Cupid looked sad and looked at the floor. Her face was now stern and confident. "I know what I have to do now," Cupid said.

She walked up to Dexter as a tear rolled down her cheek. 

"Uh, Dex, I can't be with you anymore. You and Raven deserve each other. Trust me," Cupid said sadly.

"Cupid, I want to be with you," Dexter said putting his hand on her cheek.

She turned away and closed her eyes.

"No I know what I am mean. I can't be with you. Do it for me, please," Cupid said.

Dexter sighed. "My love for you will never end."

"Well, it has to but I know Raven still loves you," Cupid said.

"Wait... what Raven? She uh, still likes me?" Dexter said.

Dexter's eyes widened and he sighed as if the curse was lifted.

"Oh no, Raven needs me!" Dexter yelled.

"She's going to the Dark Forest!" Maddie yelled.

"Then as a Charming, I shall save her!"
