If

16 8 5

If not yesterday
If not today
If not tomorrow
Then what way?

If not knowing
Is enough to not do
If not seeing
Through cloudy skies
Is blinding you
If not failed tries
If not lost dreams
If you turn away
From silent screams

If not them
If not you
If not anyone,
Then who?

I suppose that's why I strive
To see this through
And try to make you see
What is true

And what is not.
