One Last Time

Rachel's pov :

"Finn , can you please come here!" I yelled to my husband .

He didn't answer me .

"Finn?" I yelled again .

But again , no answer from him. I went down stairs to the kitchen to find Finn on the floor passed out with beer bottles right beside him. This wasn't the first time this had happened , ever since Finn got fired from his job he has been going through a depression . I've tried talking to him but he's just shut me and Kayln out . I knelt down to Finn and shook him gently ,

"Finn , honey wake up." I said .

He shot up and looked at me hung over ,

"What happened ?" He asked me again .

"You had too much to drink again didn't you ?" I asked him already knowing my answer .

He laughed ,

"Yeah I guess so." he said smiling .

I sighed and said ,

"Come on let's get you back to bed ."

I helped Finn get into the bed and tucked him in . I looked at him and put my hand on his cheek ,

"Oh Finn , what are you doing to yourself?" I asked him .

He was already asleep in the bed . I kissed his forehead and got up and left . I went down stairs and looked at all the beer bottles on the ground . I got down on my knees and started to clean up . I didn't understand , how could this be happening to him? I wish I could help him but I just don't know how . As I cleaned up the bottles I began to cry .

"Mama." Kayln said .

I turned around to see my daughter and Kurt standing there . I wiped my tears and put on a smile ,

"Hi baby girl!" I said and gave her a hug .

"Where's daddy?" She asked me .

"Oh daddy's sleeping he's tired. Come on I'll go put on some cartoons on and make you some lunch." I said .

We went into the living room and I sat Kayln down and put on Peppa Pig for her and then went back to the kitchen . Kurt looked at me concerned and I didn't say a word .

"Rachel, what happened?" He asked me .

"Nothing, everything's fine." I said .

"Bullshit." He whispered .

"Kurt!" I said .

"Come on Rach, I know whats been going on . Finn's been drinking heavy hasn't he?" He asked me .

I looked down and said ,

"Please don't say anything to him." I begged .

"Rachel , why didn't you tell anyone?" He asked me .

I looked at him ashamed and said ,

"What am I supposed to say ? My husband is a drunk who lost his job ? I love him Kurt but I don't know how to even help him . He needs me and I can't fix him." I said upset .

He looked at me and gave me a hug ,

"Rachel , it's okay . This isn't your fault , it's not anyone's fault but you have to get Finn help whether it's a physiologist or rehab . But you and Kayln can't live like this . I won't let you." He told me .

"You're right Kurt , I need you to take Kayln to your house for a couple weeks if that's okay ." I said .

"Of course it's okay ." He said .

"Thank you ." I said and went over to Kayln to tell her the news .
