Chapter 10
(1 week later )
Rachel's pov:
"Kayln ! Time for school honey!" I yelled to my daughter getting her lunch ready .

"Coming mommy!" She yelled back and came downstairs.

I handed her her breakfast and then the doorbell rang . I opened the door and it was Kurt .

"Uncle Kurt !" Kayln yelled and ran over and gave him a hug .

"Hi Kurt ." I said smiling and gave him a hug .

"How are my two favorite girls ? You ready to go ?" He asked us .

"Yeah!" Kayln said .

I smiled and grabbed my purse and Kayln's book bag and we left .  We dropped Kayln off at school and went to go get some coffee .

"So what's going on with you Ms. Rachel Berry ?" Kurt asked me .

"Oh nothing really ." I said shyly .

"Oh come on. I know you better than anyone what's going on ?" He asked me .

"Nothing." I said lying .

"It's Finn isn't it ?" He asked rhetorically.

I looked down and said ,

"It's just hard Kurt , I haven't heard from him since the talk with the lawyer and I just I wish he never cheated on me . I mean I never imagined us being divorced or ever splitting up but now he's with that dimwit and I'm alone with barely enough money to provide for Kayln and I ." I told him .

He gave me a sympathetic look and gave me a hug ,

"Oh Diva , I know it's hard right now but it won't always be like that and you know what that Malibu Barbie shit head girlfriend of his is nothing compared to you . I think you need to move on it's time ." He told me.

"I know you're right but honestly I don't know if I can ."  I said .

"Have you forgotten who you are ? You're Rachel Barbra Berry ! You can do anything." He said .

"I don't feel like I can." I said depressed.

"Okay that's it ! Time to get your confidence back ! Because I'll be damned if I'm going to let some man make you feel bad ." He said .

"Kurt ." I said .

"No buts Rachel come on !" He said and we left
