Chapter 26
Finns pov :
We got home from ice skating and had put Kayln to bed . We then went downstairs and Rachel grabbed a bottle of sparkling cider and poured us a glass .
"So I have to ask , how'd you get Malibu Barbie to agree to let you come visit us ?" Rachel asked me
"Actually , Rachel , Rose and I broke up ." I told her
She looked at me shocked ,
"Oh my god , I am so sorry Finn that sucks ." She said
"Actually , I broke up with her ." I told her
She looked at me and said ,
"Wow , um , do you wanna dance ?"
"Sure, I got the perfect song ." I told her
I plugged in my phone and pulled her close to me and we started to dance .
"This is a great song who's it by ?" She asked me
"Sam Smith ." I told her
She looked at me and put her head on my chest ,
"Finn ."
"Yeah ."
"I love dancing with you ." She said
"I should've danced with you more ." I told her
"Finn." She said
"No , if I could go back there are a lot better of things I've would've done more ." I told her
"Like what?" She asked
"I would've been more honest , I would've told you when I was feeling depressed , I would've appreciated you more . I would've never let you go." I told her .
"Then why did you?" She asked me
"I was scared , I thought it would've been better for you to hate me then to see me as a failure ." I told her
She held my face and looked at me ,
"Hey you were never a failure in my eyes , I loved you Finn ." She said
"I loved you too Rachel ." I told her
"Why are you really here ?" She asked me
"I told you , I missed Kayln ." I said lying
"Don't lie Finn , not to me please ." She said seeing through my shit
"Rachel , I made a mistake letting you go again , in fact I made a lot of mistakes with you . But I love you and I've you since the day we met . I never want to love another person besides you , I never want to make the mistake of leaving you again , I want you and only you . So what do you say , will you take me back ?"
She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said ,
"Finn , I can't." And ran upstairs and slammed the door .
