In front of the bell tower.

Stefan and i walked to Damon who just walked out.

Stefan "and?"

Damon shook his head.

I sighed and drove a hand through my now messy hair. I was still wearing the dress and stuff but i had let my hair fall down my back. People were looking at me weird because of the dress but i couldn't care less. 

Stefan "there has to be something"

Damon "the only chance we've got is if Donovan can somehow convince his train wreck of a sister hell ain't so bad. "

Suddenly Matt walked out with his phone on the ear.

Matt "Yeah, it's Sheriff Donovan. Activate the evacuation protocol. Gas leak. Yeah. again. "

He hung up and looked at us.

I looked at Stefan who looked at me. 

At home.

Stefan, Damon and i walked inside.

Stefan"There's got to be something we're missing"

Damon shook her head "nope. Katherine won. She played the long game and finally beat us. "

Me "Over my dead body am i going to let that bitch win"

We stopped in front of Elena's coffin. It was open and empty.

Damon froze shocked"what?"

Stefan "Earlier, Bonnie's heart stopped."

We looked at him.

Stefan "She said she saw Elena. "

Suddenly we heard Elena's voice "Damon?"

Our heads snapped to her.

Damon's jaw dropped " Elena "

She was wearing the same dress she wore when we "buried" her. 

Elena asked confused "what's going on?. Is Bon-"

Damon nodded  "Bonnie's okay. You're both okay"

She laughed shocked "i'm awake?"

I raised an eyebrow "wait a sec"

Damon "you're awake"

He ran to her and lifted her up.

My eyes widened when i realized what was going on. 

I yelled "It's Katherine!"

He pushed her off her and she grunted.

Damon shook his head "no!. No. no-no.no.non.no"

she put a hand on her hip "Rude"

Stefan sighed annoyed "you got to be kidding me"

Me "Sister"

She put her hand on her hip and smirked "Hello, family"

I sighed and leaned my head against Stefan's shoulder.

Katherine poured herself a drink.

Then she turned to us "am i drinking alone?"

Damon "where's Elena?"

Katherine took a sip of her drink "Dead. A spiritual coma, if we're getting technical."

I rolled my eyes.

Stefan "Her physical body. Where is it?"

Katherine "that's for me to know and for you to dot, dot, dot. "

I rolled my eyes. 

Katherine "I hope you enjoyed the little show i put on for you. It's been a hoot watching you take on the devil. "

She chuckled "Especially considering i've had him wrapped around my finger since the minute i stepped into hell"

I rolled my eyes "of course you have"

Katherine "Why did you think he wanted you? Because i wanted you. Duh"

She was going to take a sip of her drink but Damon speeded in front of her and threw the drink across the room. The glass broke against the wall.

Damon "damn it, Katherine. Where is she?"

Katherine "it really is the perfect revenge. At 10 p.m., Mystic Falls will burn, precious Elena will burn and i'm guessing one of you two Salvatores is going down with her. "

Stefan let go of my waist and slowly moved to her.

Katherine "should i place my bets now? "

Then he stabbed her in the chest. Yeah, Ric had given us the weapon that could kill her. Beautiful thing. 

She gasped and fell to the ground.

Damon "Well, that shut her up "

Stefan looked behind him at the clock and then back to Damon "We're running out of time. We have to find Elena. "

Damon and Stefan then walked to the door. Damon opened the door but then turned to me.

He raised an eyebrow  "you coming?"

I looked at them "I have to get out of this dress first and then i'll look at the cemetery"

Damon nodded "hurry "

Stefan nodded and walked to me "he's right. I don't want you here when she wakes up"

I nodded and he kissed me. I kissed him back.

Damon "alright, alright, love birds, knock it off"

I broke the kiss "i love you "

Stefan nodded "i love you"

Me "be careful"

He nodded and walked to Damon. 

Damon winked at me  "don't worry, princess, i'll take care of him"

I looked at him "I meant both of you"

He gave me a thumps up and then they walked out.

I looked at my sister. She was dead, again. 

I scoffed and walked upstairs, head shaking. 

Me "This is going to be a long night"
