I Think I Love You

I've been walking in the same road for hours suddenly thunder started roaring and rain poured everywhere.

I stopped in my tracks and threw my arms up letting the rain soak me.

"(y/n)?" said a familiar voice.

I turned around aiming my gun, dropping it down realizing it was my group that I thought I lost.

"CARL?!"

I ran towards him and we hugged ignoring the rain and our people.

"Where were you? We kept looking for you but we couldn't find you" said Carl looking at me, "are you scratch?"

I nodded no and looked around.

The group had a packet of water bottles.

"Oh God, I'm so thirsty!"

Suddenly Rick smacked the water bottle out of my hands.

"We are not drinking that!" said Rick

I smiled and I felt my cheeks redden up.

I looked around seeing all my family.

I hugged each and every one of them.

"Where were you?" asked Maggie

"Place to place basically. I tried giving up but carl kept going through my mind"

"Carl would not stop talking about you and looking for you too," said Maggie smiling and giving me a pat on my shoulder.

I excused myself to go to Carl.

He gave me a smile, "The rains getting harder"

"Look," I said pointing to the black sky, "shit's 'bout to get worse"

Judith started crying because the rain was bothering her but Carl took off his hat and covered her.

"There was a barn up there," said Daryl pointing to a hill.

"Let's go," said Rick already walking towards there.

~Time Skip~

The adults sat by the fire as Carl and I sat near them.

"I missed you (y/n)" said Carl intertwining our fingers.

"I did too"

I tried listening to Rick's conversation.

"We are the walking dead," said Rick

I snuggled closer to carl feeling the cold become colder.

I closed my eyes letting sleep take over.

Carl leaned over whispering in my ear thinking I was asleep, "I think I love you (y/n)"
