(a/n: Hey! Sorry for not updating, I didn't know what to write. I still miss my baby:/)

Carl and I laid down together in an empty bed in the house we were assigned to. I played with his hair while I laid my head on his chest, his heartbeat making me feel alive.

"I love you."

Carl stood up, "No, you don't."

I stuttered, "W-what? I do."
"You can't love me. I might die today or tomorrow."

"Carl Grimes, I don't care when we die, I still will love you," I said now standing in front of him, I cupped his face and pecked his lips.

"I love you too, (y/n)," replied Carl

I smirked and removed my shirt, "I like how you say it."

Carl's eyes widened and took his shirt off, he pushed me towards the bed, he was on top of me, kissing the right spots when we heard gunshots.

We put our shirts on and ran outside, we saw the people run from a few walkers. We grabbed our guns and started shooting them.

I heard a familiar scream, my mom's. I run towards her, kicking the walker in the face, shooting it afterward. I fell next to my mother.

"Mom, mommy?! No, no, Not you, please. Don't leave me, I can't do this by myself."

She smiled and touched my face, "Baby, I'll always be here with you. You won't be alone you have Carl."

I felt Carl's hand on my back, he was here, I felt support.

"Still, I can't lose you. I love you and I'm sorry for never obeying you."

"Don't let the world spoil you, I love you and you were the most perfect daughter I could ever ask for. Carl? Do you promise to take care of her?" said my mom looking at Carl.

"Yes, ma'am. I promise," replied Carl

She nodded, "O-Okay, I'm ready. You have to do it."

I shook my head, "I can't, not me."

"You have to. It has to be." said my mom with tears in her eyes.

I grabbed my gun and pointed it at her beautiful face, I pulled the trigger and the gun went off. I turned away and Carl pulled me into a hug.

This was a bittersweet day.
