I woke up in sweat and gasping for air. My pillow was like a bucket of water. For a second I stared at the dark ceiling and tried to calm down. My eyes ran up and down on the walls and I noticed a crack. My head tilted. I sat up then slid the bed a little so it would be under the small crack. My legs stepped on the bed and I was able to reach the top. I traced my finger along the lines of the crack then began to knock on the wall.
"Shit." I whispered as bits of the wall fallen on top of my bed.
All though this only got my bed dirty, curiosity got the better of me. I started knocking and knocking all around the ceiling. When I finally finished a rectangular shape stood out to me. I tried to push it but it didn't work. I stood there for a second and all of the sudden the rectangular shape turned out to be a small door which have whacked me on the had. When I looked up all I saw was blackness.
"Fuck this. This is the part when I go up there and die because of some supernatural stuff." I shook my head.
It was scary that it was dark, but I already opened it and for sure I will no sleep with this void above my head. I grabbed my phone and turned the flash on. As the light peeked up top you could have easily seen the dust in the air along with some spider webs on the roof. I reached up and began to pull myself up. It was hard. Maybe I should have done so workout. Maybe.
When my body was in the attic I looked around. There was a small box in there with nothing written on it. I decided to pull it closer to me while I was also trying to dodge the nasty spider webs up there. I thrown the box down onto my bed then I jumped down aswell. Before I discovered the box, I quickly duck taped the ceiling.
"Ain't no supernatural gonna kill me tonight." I whispered then sat down on my bed.
"Okay fella, watcha hiding in there." I squeezed the box and then flipped it upside down.
The top came off and some papers have gotten all over the place.
"This causing more mess than it should..." I mumbled.
I started picking up the papers and they turned out to be letters. My curiosity got the better of me so I started reading page one. The letter was written to Mr (y/l/n), which is my dad. It was a letter from the government of the United Kingdom. It kind of scares me that a letter was specialised for my dad.
"Maybe this isn't for me to read." I mumbled as I put the papers back into the box and shoved it under the bed.
I started cleaning up the bits that were on my bed and I noticed something that blinded me. Something reflected the moonlight onto my eyes and I jumped a bit. My finger ran through the covers and they came to find a ring lying in there. It was a beautiful rose gold base with some purple diamonds planted into it. It was fashioned in a shape of a butterfly. Something inside me didn't feel right when I placed it onto my ring finger. However it was unexplainable. I shrugged it off. Most of the time I just feel stupid if I go too much in details over nothing and to be all honest, a ring would be the last thing that would have a huge meaning. Unless it's a wedding ring. Maybe then your whole life changes.
I went back to bed and I tried to relax. Every time I have a panic attack or a bad dream I tried to get rid of it by breathing. The insomnia can be pretty tought on me. Especially at night. Middle of the night. When I wake up from a nightmare. I usually just twirl around and wonder about life. Wonder about love...
I turned to my left reaching my right arm out front of me. I imagined Cloby's back turn towards me. My hand reached for his hair then I slowly worked my way down to his spine. I felt the warm skin. I felt the bumps and humps of his shoulder blade. My eyes watered and I felt his body collapsing front of me. My hand lowered and I grasped onto the covers firmly. I pulled it closer to my face as my face turned into a frozen river. The loneliness felt so bad. The continuous pain inside my chest that can not be stopped. It feels like there's a gap in my heart, but I don't know how to fill it in. I am just really hoping that somebody would feel that in. Even if I would meet Colby it would feel so much better.
I sobbed through the night. When I came to a half asleep, half awoke state I felt a kiss staining the side of my forhead. First I tought it was a house member but when I turned around there was nothing insight.
