Lucas awoke on a dirty, patched couch. His sister was long gone, and the room was empty except for a man standing nearby. He was wearing a masquerade-style mask as well.
"So you're the little delivery boy, huh?" He threw Lucas a sack of potatoes and shoved him out the door.
Lucas still wanted answers. When the door shut and locked behind him, he tried to open it to no avail.
He needed to know.
