After eating dinner and resting at Lucas' house, the newly-formed Team Avatar sat in the living room and discussed plans for the future.
"Hope, you have to master firebending. Unfortunately, I can't teach you, but there are plenty of masters out there." said Lucas, who was eating some breakfast. Nia had come overnight like she usually did, and Lucas had explained the whole situation to her. She had left at dawn to go to her second job, but she had left extra breakfast. Lucas was grateful.
Nori was huddled in the corner, dark shadows under her swollen red eyes. She had been crying all night. She felt horrible. It was her fault that Hope and Lucas had to suffer.
"I'm so confused. What are we supposed to do?"
The whole situation Hope was in really confused her. Just yesterday, she had been living in the lap of luxury. Now, she didn't have a home. She couldn't go back to her parents, because they had no idea about Kadlin's betrayal. If she went back to her first home, her parents would just take her and Nori back to the White Lotus building.
Hope couldn't go back to the past. She had to face the future.
