Chapter 13: Hunters

You get out of the bed and Jin just puts on his clothes. Both of you don't talk until you are fully dressed.

"y/n...let's go get a drink. We haven't properly met and...I did just sleep with you." He said laughing

You smile, "I agree. It's better we get to know each other."

He then takes your hand and leads you out of the house. You feel happy as you feel the cool air once again blowing through your hair. The streetlights, light the way a popular nearby bar. Once you go inside you see people sitting at tables and see that the bar is completely full. You guys were able to find a table in the back of the room where you guys can talk.

"What can I get you two?" Said a charming man

"Can I get a Whiskey on rocks please?" You say smiling 

"Of course! I love a lady who likes the classics. How about you sir?" He said

"I'll take a beer." Said Jin 

"Ah. A man after my own heart." Said the guy

"What's your name?" You say

"Chris." He said flashing a dazzling smile

"Nice to meet you Chris."

"You too. I'll be right back with your drinks."

He then walks off behind the bar leaving you and Jin alone at the table.

"So Jin I have some questions." You say hoping he can answer some of the questions that lay unanswered

"I'd assume so." He said laughing

"Do vampires hate the sun? Like will you really turn to ash or sparkle?" 

Jin laughed, hard, before answering your question,"Yes. The sun is very irritating and can kill me. So I can't be out for too long. If you have a ring that has been blessed by a witch on the other hand, you can stay in the sun for as long as you like."

"Garlic really bother you?"

"More like I personally don't like it. It won't kill me or anything. Some of the other guys in the house eat it but I don't." 

"How do you kill a vampire?"

"Well a wooden stake to the heart won't kill me. It'll paralyze me for a short amount of time though, same with vervain. Burning us and cutting off our heads is what seems to do the trick." He said a little uncomfortable by your question

"What is vervain?"

"It's an ancient herb used to torture vampires."

"What other creatures are there?" You say remembering that siren

"Well there are witches, demons, lycans AKA werewolves,  sirens, reapers, shapeshifters, skin-walkers, and some others. Why do you ask?" Said Jin a bit concerned

"Well-" You were cut off as the man from earlier set the drinks down on the table

You both took a sip and you immediately realized it didn't taste like normal whiskey. Jin spit out his drink and held his throat. 

In a strained voice he said, "Vervain.."

You quickly took him outside, and he fell to the ground in pain. Chris came outside and you speak, "Chris! Please help me get him up." 

He doesn't speak but three other guys come out of the shadows. Holding sharp weapons and wooden stakes.

Hunters....

You stand your ground and stand in front of Jin, glaring at them all.

"What are you going to do little girl?" Said one man

"Yea, you don't have this vampires strength to harm us." Said another one laughing

"You think he really cares about you girl? You're just food." Said the guy next to chris

Chris looked at you, pity in his eyes, "Please don't make us hurt you too. We just want the vampire."

You were filled with anger and the objects around you stated to shake as you focus on one thing...your anger.

You lift your hand slowly and nearby objects lift into the sky. Even their weapons were no longer in their hands. You continue to rise them and the men look at you terrified.

"Don't do this!" Cried out Chris

"You shouldn't have messed him." You say, your voice unrregignoziable

You then point at them and the objects are throwing themselves right at them. Only two out of the four men died. Chris and the other guy ran away, limping. You turn back over to Jin and see that he is no longer in pain and he smiled at you.

You smile before your eyes feel heavy again, and fall to the ground.
