CHAPTER : 1

MINA POV :

''MINA '' my mom called me from downstairs .
''Yes, coming! '' I replied and go down to ask .
''Hmm what happened ?!? '' I ask her.
''Sweetheart can you go to the super market and bought some eggs?'' she asked.
''Okay give me money ''.

She give me some dollar and I take my jacket because it is winter here and put on my shoes on.

I close the door behind me and run to convenience store. Not basically running but walking.
As I got in, I go to eggs shall.
Take a packet .
I go to counter and paid for eggs .

Some dollar left I look at them .
I go inside again and buy myself some chocolates.
Like mom not gonna ask me where the remaining money are.
I open the packet and started eating .
Chocolate is life. But when it melts it gives me a satisfy feeling.
Chocolate is not just food its a feeling. Warm feeling makes me happy.

As I was walking and enjoying my chocolate I hear someone groan.
I look around and I didn't see anything due to darkness. The street light are not working but some are working.
I shake my thought and start walking again . But I hear it again.

''Hello is someone here ??" I asked looking around.
''P-please -h-help '' someone said like whisper.
''But where are you!? '' I asked as I walk toward dark alley.

But before i walk i put eggs on road near a closed door.
As I walk I take out my phone and open the torch in my phone
I gasp as I see a boy cover with blood.
He cover his face with his hands.
I can tell he was crying, how can someone hurt him he is about my age and i am very sensitive person.

See him like this made me also cry.
''What happened to you ? Who did this to you ?" I asked.

He didn't answer.
''Common get up '' .
I take his hand and put it on my shoulder and my another hand is on his waist. All his way out he keep groaning.
I help him out of the alley and sit him on a path.

I close the torch and call ambulance.

''Hey ! Are you okay ?" I know I ask a stupid question but can't help.
He just nod. I cant see clearly his face because of blood cover his face and some cuts.

It took 15 min to ambulance come here.
They took him in as he held my hand but he didn't say anything.

I understand him that he was scared alone so I also got in ambulance with him. Before i get in i grab eggs.

He kept hold my hand tight as the nurse was cleaning his blood from his wound.

When we reach to hospital and they took him in operation room.

Suddenly my phone rings .
I pick it up .
''Hello Mina where are you ?? Are you okay ?? '' my mom asked worried.
''Don't worry mom im on my way to home I meet a friend in store so that take long I am coming '' I lied as I hold up.

I begin to walk but I thought of the guy .
Shall I leave or not.
His parent will come.
Don't worry Mina.
I will visit him tomorrow.
What if he doesn't have parent?.
What if he lives alone?.

Who I am interfering in someone matter. I started to walk to toward home.
I reach after 20 minutes.
I open the door and get in.
I close the zip the jacket from front because it has some blood of the boy but my jacket is black so it didn't see any blood.

''I'm home '' I said and put the egg on counter.
''I'm so worried about you I thought someone kidnap you '' she said.
I started to laugh nervously.
''Oh common mom ,who wants to kidnap me they will regret after kidnapping me '' I state making mom laugh.
"Yea right, you will cook them up with the Chinese guys you see".
"Mom they are korean not Chinese! " i said making her laugh out loud.
''I'm going upstairs'' she nodded.

I go upstairs and straight to bathroom i take out my shirt and see blood on it i immediately wash it.

I take out another shirt and wear it.
I lay on bed and think about the boy I met in street.
I didn't get the chance to ask his name. I hope he's okay.

With the though of him I sleep
