I took a seat on the sofa beside Fugaku, Sasuke's father, whom was reading a book but looked up once he noticed my presence. "Hey Naruto, you spending the weekend?" He asked.
I gave a nod. "Yeah, my brother is in town and my mom didn't want me at the house while he's there," I answered. The Uchiha family knew my family problems so I knew I could talk to them.
"Well, you already know that you're welcome here," he offered, before looking back into his book.
I nodded and smiled a bit. "Thanks," I could feel my eyes watered, reassurance was what I really needed right now. Maybe a hug too. I sniffles a bit and looked away so make it seem like I totally wasn't crying.
I could practically feel Fugaku's head lift to look in my direction. "Naruto? Are you crying?" He asked.
"No," I answered, a small sob leaving my mouth in the process.
I heard him shift but I didn't look. I felt him hug me, something I most definitely didn't expect. I slowly leaned into the brunette's hold. Sasuke's parents were like my parents so their attitude wasn't too uncommon. I turned my head into his shoulder and let out my sobs, not bothering to hide it.
