....
I need to focus on something else besides the curly haired boy in the backseat. What can I talk about with these guys?
"So? Where you guys taking me today?" I ask.
"We're not quite sure," Zayn says.
"We weren't sure what you liked to do; we didn't want you to have a bad time. We were hoping that maybe you'd have a suggestion of somewhere we should go. We've only been to San Francisco once before and we didn't do much the last time we were here," Liam adds. Do they always speak on behalf of each other?
"We could go to the mall," I say as seriously as I can. The guys look at me with horrified expressions and before I can stop myself, I erupt into a fit of laughter. I guess they didn't think that was funny. I look at Louis and flash the goofiest smile I can at him before talking again. "If you couldn't already tell, I was kidding. I would never take you guys into a mall with your faces plastered on every wall. Besides it's like a quarter to two and the mall's busiest around this time; it being Saturday doesn't help that," I say. "We could go mini golfing or catch a movie... No, I've got it. Let's go to my store. No one's going to be there on a Saturday, we're not open. It'll give us a place to hang out beside your hotel and it's kinda too late to hang out at my house; we're nowhere close to it anymore."
The boys all look at each other, not saying anything at all, before Niall speaks up, "We'd love to go to your store. Is there somewhere good to eat close by it?" I guess they do always speak for each other. Weird.
"Yeah," I say. "There's a really nice restaurant next door. I could get us a secluded table, no problem."
Harry rolls down the window separating the back of the SUV you from the front and tells their security guard and driver where we plan on going. I give the driver the address and he thanks me before rolling back up the window.
"From where we are," I say, "it's going to take a while to get there. We're only twenty minutes away but it might take an hour in this traffic."
"We've got some time to kill. I'm going to take a nap. You guys have fun," Zayn says. I don't think he's much of a people person. Either that or he's just really tired.
I look at Louis, who looks even hotter than yesterday. He's got on his whole skater get up; ripped jeans, a cool t-shirt, vans, but no beanie. His hair is quiffed but it still manages to look a little messy, I can't imagine what his perfectly done hair looks like. He didn't shave this morning. Did he have facial hair yesterday? I have no idea but it makes him look good.
I start to really take in his appearance and notice things that I hadn't before. He has these amazing blue eyes; they look kind of a blue-gray in this lighting. He's got tattoos all over his arms; there are more on the right arm than the left one. It looks like he has tattoos on his chest too but I could be wrong. I been looking at him for a while and I can't seem to pull my eyes off of him. I hope he hasn't noticed.
I see Louis' lips moving and then his hand directing between the two of us. I snap back into reality long enough to hear what he asks, "..... looking at me like she wants to. So, Niall can we switch spots?"
"Yeah, no problem," Niall says while taking off his seatbelt. "I'm surprised that you didn't ask me to switch with you earlier. I know you can take your eyes off her."
"It looks like she can't either," Liam chimes in while looking at me. I turn my attention from Louis to stick my tongue out at Liam. Do I always stick my tongue out this much? I've done it at least two times since I got into the car with these guys.
The car stops at a light and the guys take this opportunity to trade spots. They're both seated and buckled in within a matter of seconds. After a few minutes the car starts moving again. Damn this traffic. I hope we aren't stuck in the type of traffic I was stuck in yesterday. That was horrible.
