Cassie's POV

....

I wake up in the dining room, my face stuck to the table. I can't believe I fell asleep in here. I pull my face from the brown mahogany and rub my eyes, allowing them to adjust to the bright light of the dining room's chandelier. I stand up slowly and stretch. My back is killing me, this is the last time I sleep humped over in a chair.

Leaving the dining room, I head to my own. I'm really tired, actually more like emotionally drained but I can't go back to sleep. I need to talk to someone. Where's my phone? I pat my pockets, nothing's there. Fuck. Where did I leave it?

I'm pacing around my room, flipping pillows and moving things around in search of my stupid smart phone. I've been looking for at least five minutes. It's not in here. I walk into the living room, repeating the process.

"Looking for this?" Tiff asks, waving my phone at me.

"Where was it?" I ask, walking to grab it from her.

"The kitchen."

"Oh. Well thanks," I say while trying to grab my phone.

"Not so fast. We need to talk."

"Alright. Just give me my phone first."

The moment that Tiff is about to place my phone in my hand, it vibrates. Fuck. "So who's Harry?" Fuck!

"He's one of the guys I met. That's not what we need to talk about though," I say, snatching my phone from her.

"Gosh, don't be such a bitch."

"Alright. I don't want to do this right now, so..," I say turning around. Tiff grabs my arm. I close my eyes and take a breath before turning back around. "Are we going to do this civilly?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Sit down, yell, do what you need to. I don't have anything else to say after yesterday."

Tiff goes on and on, yelling until she's almost lost her voice. I stay quiet the whole time. I've been listening to her yell for almost an hour. I've managed to refrain from texting Harry during my lecture. I really need to talk to him, he's a good listener.

"Cassie! Are you even listening to me?" Not really.

"Yes. Are you done yet?"

"Yeah. I'm completely done, with you and all of this. I can't be your friend anymore." Tiff leaves me and I don't know how to feel. I already knew our friendship wasn't going to work after everything that happened but I didn't think she would admit it. I'm kind of surprised, actually really surprised.

I go back to my room, closing the door, and then sitting down on my bed, my back against the headboard. These last fifteen hours of my life have been great. My phone vibrates in my hand, reminding me of my life outside of this house.

I've got another text from Harry. "So you're ignoring me now?"

"No, of course not. I got a little tied up dealing with Christian last night and then Tiffany this morning. I'd have much rather been talking to you."

"Ah. How did it go?"

"Just like I thought it would. I'm no longer involved with either of them."

"That's a good thing, right?"

"I'm not really sure."

"Oh. Well, I just wanted to catch you before it was too late. Maybe you can tell me the whole story on FaceTime later today?"
