Living With Vampires

Chapter 5

"No" I answered.

He smiled.

He grabbed my wrist tight.

He's strong, for a vampire.

He laughed and I frowned. Then I just realised that he can read my mind and I just spoke in my mind. But now I gotta focus on escaping.

But how?

You know what?

Forget about escaping. I'm literally useless and I am about to be introduced to everyone and I can't run away. I look behind me and glare at the boys for not helping me.

And Jason is still holding onto my hand. And he is not gonna let go no matter how many times I hit him.

He's too strong. I hate it.

I hate it when he enjoys making me suffer. I hate you Jason.

He gave a signal to the DJ. The DJ understood. He turned down the music and grabbed the microphone.

"Yo, guys sorry to turn down the music but our head of the club wanna say something so let's give it up for Jasooooonnnnn!"

Everyone applaud while Jason walked to the stage along with me. And my hand is still gripped. I gave him a glare then faced the group.

Some girls were looking at me from head to toe repeatedly. Some of them were whispering and talking, maybe about me.

I turned to look at the guys. They were smirking and winking at me. Some were checking out on me but I just rolled my eyes. I'm just wearing regular clothes people.

I look back at Jason then he looked at me then spoke. "Hello guys, I wanna introduce you to my human friend, Emily. Please be nice to her and don't even think about the other thing" then he smiled. I smiled back.

Everyone cheered then we walked away from the stage. We headed to the food area but all was vampire food. There's raw meat and blood juice. Ugh.

I look at the guys and they seemed to be enjoying it except me. I looked at the floor not knowing what to do next. Then I felt someone holding my hand. I look up and saw Jason smiling at me.

"Those are not for you, follow me" he said and I followed him. Hoping that I could trust him after what he did. We were in the same VIP room but then he opened the curtains and there was another door behind it.

I stood there for awhile then he turned around to look at me "come on, I promise. Nothing inappropriate." he handed out his hand. I took a huge breath before handing out my hand.

We went in the door. Inside, was food. Yes, I'm literally starving and I haven't had breakfast. I grabbed the bag of chips then started eating. Without thinking, I turned around and look at Jason.

He was laughing. I know it was funny but I couldn't help it, I was hungry and I haven't ate. I handed out the chips for him but he said "I have enough of human food. That was a long time ago since I ate those"

And that makes me remember of years ago when we're young. I always bring snacks on recess and he always eats them but now I realised he did that to blend in but who knew he never like them. But seriously, everyone loves chips. Who doesn't?

"You wanna dance?" A stranger said.

I am now outside the VIP room with a cup of coke. Not blood. I don't wanna drink animal or human blood. That's so unlike me.
