It's come down to days.
Two days and then he's gone.
Not forever of course
But long enough for me to have to experience life without him.
Two days...
One minute is all it took for us to explode in rage
And spill hurtful words
That we can't take back.
"Don't let it end this way" I begged.
But of course
Love hurts
And we never truly get what we want
