Heaven accepted another angel into the gates today
She was warm hearted,
Compassionate,
And had never ending love for me
The disease may have taken over her body
But the Lord took over her heart and gave her wings
To fly and watch over us
She'll be in the hushed sounds of the wind whipping though my hair
She'll be the love that lifts the heaviness off of my heart every morning
She'll be the whisper in the night, clearing my mind from the heartache and telling me it'll be alright
She'll be the one single flower that grows on the side of the road in the middle of a field of weeds
She'll be the butterfly that lands on my finger, comforting me
She'll be the trees swaying to the rhythm of her heart, giving me life
She'll be around
I am honored to have my very own Guardian Angel in the form of my grandmother
