"You're free." L took my arm with his hand and led me out of the building. "I won." He said to Mr. Yagami, and Mr. Yagami gave L a five dollar bill.
"I'm sorry I thought this all this time, (Y/N)... please forgive me." Mr. Yagami bowed in that type of manner.
"Stand up. It was safety. You were concerned. I would have done the same. What I'm actually mad about right now is that you guys betted on me. I mean, come on!"
L laughed, not a full laugh, but a good laugh. I've never heard him laugh like that before. Why was he laughing now? "It's one way to make good money." He said, smiling.
"I guess. Now, come on, let's catch Kira!"
