Because he had become too "dangerous?" Because he wanted a better world for everybody, a world where he would lead them to a happier tomorrow?
That was the thing about friends. That was the thing about brothers. They would turn on you as soon as they saw you were better than them at something. They'd turn on you without a moment's hesitation.
Friendship was supposed to be more than that. Love was supposed to be more than that.
If that was how his friends treated him, banishing him to a world of nothing but shadows and reflections, then he'd never truly had a friend. He'd never truly been loved.
But he would change that. He just had to wait for his chance.
