The thunder rumbles
Just like your deep voice
And the lightning flashes in return
Like my heart skips when you're around
The rain pours down
Like my tears
And pain
And the destruction in it's wake
Is like how I feel inside
Cause you came crashing in
Like a hurricane
Started off as nothing but a
Summer rain
But then you got all fired up
And blew me away
I was sucked in
And now I'm here to stay
Until the storm dies down
And you leave me for dead
I'll be lying on the ground
With a pounding in my head
Oh you've been broken
And I get it's hard to breathe
But that's no reason
To take it out on me
I wasn't the one to hurt you
And I didn't make you cry
She couldn't give a damn bout a thing you do
Yet I'm gonna try
And you won't get rid of me
Easily

But I'm struggling to catch my breath
And you're reeking of impending death
The way you're looming over me
So blinded, I know you can't see
I know this is how it will end
