Here I was again, in a familiar chair with all eyes peered on me. Tapping my fingertips against the cold beautiful quartz pillar that stood planted beside me to purposely create a nuisance. We all were in the room in an unpleasant silence for what felt like hours, waiting for Odin to appear from the corner with the final decision. I wasn't the littlest of phased, I've gotten myself in more trouble than any other Asgardian that has lived, yet still managed to be still accepted here. The God of Mischief Loki, didn't count considering he's technically not an Asgardian. Just some broken man who throws temper tantrums over not being the rightful heir of Asgard.

I couldn't fight off my scoff from how long he has been discussing what to do with me, the solution is the same damn thing every time. I can't go anywhere on Asgardian grounds without a babysitter, and I can only go a precise range until a magical binding shocks within my flesh mildly to warn me that if I continue forward, I'll be facing 'serious' consequences. Finally, I heard the patting of Odin's shoes against the tile flooring, with each and every step getting slightly closer. I couldn't help but hold my breath for the anticipated outburst he'll deliver; tensing up from the uncomfortable environment with anxiety as an assistant.

He came into view, around the same corner I deeply hated. The guards that have been keeping watch on me for any trouble I'd offer, strayed away from the scene to leave Odin alone to scold. I heard one of them mumble loud enough for me to catch on, "She's a screwed little one." He said and I didn't attempt to fight off my eye roll, feeling the hard rub against my lids. Odin was just arms length away at this rate, and I swallowed hard. I may have known that my punishment wouldn't be severe, but he had a talent to be intimidating without even trying. It was like blinking for the god. He gestured me to stand and in a wink, I was on my feet. My hands tightly intertwined with one another, forming plenty of sweat.

"When will you stop being so reckless, Tabitha?" Odin's question rolled off the tongue like it were the first to leave his mouth.

I shifted, switching my pose. My hand lightly moved to my arm and rubbed it gingerly, "Guess there won't be a time I won't be." I answered truthfully, clearing my throat after being silent for so long.

"I figured, it appears you'll never fix your flaws." He moved his head upwards, his one eye locked onto both of mine, "This is precisely the—how many times has it been that you've caused a ruckus?"

I fought another eye roll, as he knowingly raised an eyebrow awaiting my response. "It's been 99 times since I've stood here to listen to your lectures." I say respectfully.

He hummed in response, a tight smirk appearing on his lips, "This has been the 100th time you've stood before me, with another con to aimlessly create. The council and I made a decision your tenth time here, that when you hit your hundredth mark—you'll have to face some serious matters."

"What's next? I'm not allowed to own a puppy now? Damn you got me." I sassed, my arms crossing over my chest, and Odin neglected my comment. He was used to any remark I had after all these years.

"You'll wish that's the case Tabitha, trying to steal the tesseract just because it's simply 'pretty looking', was the final straw for me." He stepped closer and I glared up at his casper white skin, feeling uneasy of what was coming, "You'll lose your opportunity of a ever long lasting life, and will be given the lifespan of a mortal." My heart sank to the pit of my stomach, ready to protest but he cut me off, "And you'll be banished from Asgard."

I was in disbelief that this was occurring, ironically though, I should have seen this coming. The amount of trouble I've stirred up of course would take me away from my home. I couldn't help but wonder about all the stuff on this planet—if that's what it even was. Of course, my life on Asgard would be cut short along with my life, because curiosity killed the cat.
