Caroline pov

It has been 300 years since we left the counts kingdom where I left Tristen and Nik left aurora. Life has went on as normal as possible Nik has just gotten more darker he takes pleasure in actually killing now. I feed off animals now it's not as strong as human blood but it keeps me from not passing out. Everybody seems to be sad right now even me so I decided to go to Finn for guidance as I always have. I found him reading a book about potions.

" Hey how's my only favourite vampire " he smiled and I hugged him and he hugged me back.

" Hey " I smiled

" What's wrong you seem down like everybody else " he asked

" You've noticed it too. I don't know if it because I'm a vampire or hybrid or just whatever I am I feel dead " it told him

" Well your a physically dead so maybe it acts like that on inside " he told me

" I hate being like this a monster. " I moaned

" Look you have done Amazon progress after these last centuries you haven't killed a single life just animals. Nik and kol are the ones who should bow down there head in shame " he was saying

" I guess " I said

" You just have to remember to stay strong " he reassured me

" Thank you " I hugged him again

" You look such like Freya as I've said a thousand times. " He smiled

" Freya? The one who died before Elijah was born " I asked

" Yes. Anyway I think you should go you need to babysit Nik " he joked and I giggled by it.

I went outside and I saw kol sucking the life out of a young girl. I got so angry I took the girl off of him and blood was dripping down his mouth.

" Kol " I shouted at him

" Look just because you have some guilty conscience about killing people I however don't. You can't change that vampires they eat poeple " he told me

" I understand that you drink blood from innocent lives and you don't feel a thing but control yourself and maybe yes try and drink animal blood. All of us care about you " I told him

" That's funny. None of you care about me you think I'm irrevalent. You think I'm probably a waste of space he sat on a massive rock and i bent down to him because how could he think that.

" we all love you kol. When Elijah and Nik rescued me from my family. I was so scared and lonely and then I met the little ones of the family. I remember you so much kol when I came to your family you was five a couple of months away from being six. You were funny and smart and adorable. " I was saying by this time tears were rolling down his face
" Just please try animal blood for me "

" I'll try " he hugged me and I hugged him back and smiled.

A couple of hours later

We were walking through town and then there were vampires on pikes and a metal box. There were I have to say cut guys standing on the platform. Rebekah has already got one.

" These demons live among us but me and my brothers we are on a mission to kill all of them " he yelled as he opened the metal box and a vampire came out and burned to death in the sun. Screaming for mercy. I out my hand to my mouth and Nik knew it was hard for me to watch.

" Come here love it's all right " he hugged so I wouldn't see a thing

" Perhaps it would be smart if you and kol was more secret with your bodies '" Elijah said while Klaus smirking to himself

" You might want to warn Rebekah then " I told them

" Why " Nik asked and then I posted to Rebekah flirting with the hunter and he flirting back with her.

Klaus piv

It was night and I was lying in my bed just looking at the ceiling and I heard Caroline screaming without blinking I sped inti her room and she was having a nightmare.

" Mikael. No Mikael. MIKAEL! " She was screaming

" Caroline. " I went on to her bed but she wasn't waking up. " Caroline! "

She woke up shivering in terror and her tears going her face rapidly. She looked around in fear thinking Mikael was here.

" Caroline look at me Mikael isn't here it was just a bad dream. " I was hugging you to her and I kissed her on the forehead.
She finally caught her breath to say a few words

" It was horrible he killed every single one of you " she hugged tight on me

" It's going to take alot to kill me love I will never leave you " I told her

" Promise " she asked

" Promise " I smirked

" Can you stay here Nik... Please " she asked me .

" Thankyou " she lightly smiled

We lay down on the bed facing each other I wanted to kiss her so much. I knew I already compelled one loss away from her already
