Caroline pov

Flashback

It has just been a couple of hours since Mikael taught me another lesson and I don't mean the friendly kind. Why does he always go so hard on me and Nik? I will never understand that but he is family to me. It's late at night  and me Rebekah and Nik were kniving our names on the wall so the history would know our names. I know right stupid but it's fun. Rebekah is trying to hold a knife and crave her name in but she can't exactly hold a knife in her hands. She wasn't really trained that much with swords. I was more of the warrior in our family.

" Oh come on Rebekah Caroline is better at weilding a knife than you and that's saying something " Nik joked

" Rude " I looked at him

" If I want to hold a knife I will hold a knife " she told both of us

" what if mikael finds out " Nik suggested

" He only does because you always tell him " I told him

" I can't help it Caroline... He scares me " he looked down

" And that is why we stick together " Rebekah smiled

" always and forever " I carried on her sentence and smiled at Nik

" I have to go and help mother with food " Rebekah was walking away and passing Nik the knife.

" Yes let the man deal with it " he smiled and Rebekah smiled passed it to him but cutting him.

" Ow. REBEKAH " he hissed

" It's just a little blood be a man about it " she viciously smiled

And I giggled and he looked at me with a playful look.

" Give me the knife " I asked while giggling.

" I don't know love wouldn't want you to cut yourself with it would we " he was craving the names into the stones. And I just looked at him doing it for 25 minutes and I was getting bored

" Nik " I moaned " let me have the knife "

" Fine " he smirked and I craved my name in.

" Come on dinner " I smiled held his hand and we ran back home together. We will do everything together took the very end of time.

Present

I parked my car and went up to the Salvatore house and went in as I've already been in their house before and they all looked at me.

" Hi to all of you too " I walked up to them

" Maybe you can explain what these say blondie " Damon asked and I looked at the pictures and I was amazed

" Where did you get these pictures " I whispered in amazement

" Lockwood caves...catcooms call what you want that's not the point what do they say? " Damon asked

" Niklaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Mikael and me " I told them pointing to each of our own names.

" We're sorry for what we did " Elena apologized to me

" Are we? " Damon asked and everybody looked at him

" yes we are DAMON " bonnie looked at me " we panicked in fear and it wasn't fair if us to omost kill your boyfriend and we are truly sorry for it. I just hope we can be friends "

" Ofcourse " I hugged bonnie and I smiled

" So now we have to figure out why Esther want to talk to me " Elena said

" What? Esther wants to talk to you " I asked

" Yeah at this ball thing Esther has invited all of us too " she told me " I assume your going "

" Yeah I am unfortunately Esther is making me do a grand speech. Yeah I don't get along with her so well " I told them

" Why I thought she was your adoptive mother " bonnie asked

" She is but... " I was going to say but

" It's complicated " Rebekah came in and smiled.

" Where were you " I asked

" Talking to Stefan bit of a grumpy these days isn't he

  Nik started to call me and I went into another room and answered it.

" Hey " I answered.

" Where are you love " he asked

" your stalking me now? " I giggled

" No I just know that neither you or Rebekah are at school not that I like you going to these human rituals " he told me

" School isn't a human ritual and I'm at the Salvatore mansion. They wanted to apologize and they wanted to show pictures. Remember that night when we put our names in those rocks " I asked him

" Yeah " he replied

" There still here " I told him " is this all you wanted to ask me "

" I would be honoured if you would attend this ball with me " he told me

" I prefer a man to do it up front not over the phone " I giggled and joked

" Come home and I will " he told me

" I'll be home soon I promise. Bye " I smiled.

" Goodbye love " he ended the call and I couldn't help smalling.

" Was that Nik " Rebekah asked

" Yes " I smiled. " Come on Rebekah we're going home. See you all at the party "
