Caroline pov

Well it's my birthday... Can't say it's much of a birthday because I hate my birthday. This is the day my parents died and obviously I don't age so two reasons not to really celebrate my birthday. Since I turned a vampire Nik has tried 992 times to see that my birth is great and each time he has failed. I am 1009 today huh it's so weird to say that but I am that age. My banshi curse is getting worse I'm controlling it so far can't say about the future and I haven't been two school in weeks because it would be so awkward to go to my friends after how things ended and we have basically every class together.

I got up out of bed took a shower got dressed and went downstairs to nik. Elena daggered Rebekah a week ago o partly haven't forgave her. She's still daggered right now.

" Hey " I muttered looking in the fridge for food.

" Happy birthday love " he smiled

" Don't remind me " I got ice cream out the fridge and sat down next to Nik

" Well if it helps you don't look a day over 17 " he smirked and I did

" Thanks I just I don't think this day will get any better for me " I told him

" It will one day love " he kissed me on my forehead " your mundane school rang and said if you would be going to school today as you have missed about two weeks of it "

" No I'm too depressed to go I'll go tomorrow " I told him and he nodded

" I have a present for you " he smirked

And I opened it and it was a beautiful diamond bracelet. 

" Nik it's beautiful " I put it on

" It won't dorment your banshi curse but it will make it stable for you until you feel like taking it off again " he told me

" Thanks Nik " I kissed him

" All of the hybrids wish you a happy birthday you must of won their hearts over " he looked at me

" You know I only have eyes on you " I smiled

" And the hybrids have their eyes ob you " he joked

" Maybe if you act like there real people " i told them

" I do there my friends " he smiled

Then the doorbell rang and I was about to get up

" No please let me " Tommy told me Andi nodded my head in reply he was gone for a sec then he cane back with Matt Elena and bonnie

" Are these friends of yours like they sat " he asked

" Erm yeah thanks Tommy that will be all " I told him then he left.

" Give us a moment can you Nik " I asked and whispered.

" Sure " Then he sped away

" Hi " I told them unsure

" We were planning to do you a whole art display on your locker saying happy birthday " bonnie smiled

" And for me to apologize for being a total selfish bitch when I should of been a good friend " Elena came up to me " it wasn't my place to tell you that you can't be one of them because there family to you and family is one of the most precious things. I should know that "

" Thankyou " I smiled and hugged her

" Groups hug " bonnie yelled and me Matt Elena and bonnie group hug.

" We'll listen you from now on " bonnie smiled and we hugged again

Today had been fun I went out all day with my friends and had a good time. I had just got back I just put a baggy top and leguins to go to bed in. I went Into the living room and Nik was sketching.

" Hey " I smiled

" Hey love " he put his sketch down  and I layed on his chest. " How was your birthday "

" Better than expected " I told him

" Good " he was stroking my hair " my day was interesting "

" What do you mean " I asked him

" Well Stefan decapitated Wendy of our hybrids then he omost killed Elena going off the bridge " he told me

" That's probably why she left when we were out... Is she ok? " I asked

" She's pissed off at him but sure she's ok " he smiled

" Ok I'm going to bed I'm tired " I told him

" I'll be up there in a minute love night " he told me

" Night " I smiled then went to bed
