Arthur's POV

I was teaching the men in Ealdor how to fight with a sword. As I said instruction and hint continually after one another, I couldn't help but think that they had no chance. These men never had to fight before and now they need to fight to save their lives against men who are trained. My hope for them was wavering, but I couldn't let that show and I wouldn't give up on them. I promised to help. Thats what Im going to do.

Morgana's POV

Gwen and I watched the men fight while we were stuck sharpening weapons. There weren't enough people in that group to fight Kanen off. Not only that, but they barely knew how to fight. They are, however, admirable. Instead of running away, they are staying and they are willing to fight off Kanen's men.

I look over to Gwen and see that she is also looking at the men.

I look over to the women who are preparing weapons as well. There were quite a few of them. If the women were allowed to fight, Ealdor would have a much better chance of winning. Thing is, I know Arthur. He wouldn't want the women to fight, but that isn't going to stop me from trying (and going against his back if need be).

Men keep thinking that they are the only ones capable of fighting, but if I remember correctly (and I know I do), when we were younger, I would beat Arthur during duels between the two of us. Skill isn't inherited, it is achieved. These women have a shot and I will make sure they won't throw it away.

Gwen's POV

Morgana was looking at the men who were fighting and I know we were both thinking the same thing: the women need to fight. The fight, however, as not the only thing on y mind. Alison seemed very.... restless this morning. It was as if she could not stay in the house any longer and if she didn't get out, she would explode. Even now she is restless, continuously going around all of Ealdor doing different things all at once.

Then again, this is Merlin's sister I am thinking about. Merlin himself is quite clumsy, but he always has good intentions. Perhaps she is the same, except more restless and less clumsy.

I brought my focus back to the blade in my hand in order to sharpen it, though it won't mater how sharp our blades are if there are not enough people to fight. I sighed and looked up at Morgana only to find her looking at me. In that moment of eye contact I knew we were both having the same thoughts. We would need to talk to Arthur soon.

Merlin's POV

After I gave Arthur all the sticks, I went back into the woods and sat. I looked at everything. This was the place that I have grown up in and the place I left in hopes that I can learn to better control my magic. It was growing stronger and I could feel it. When we came back to Ealdor and I saw Alison and Mum together, I couldn't help but miss it. I want to stay but I need to fulfill my destiny. I understand that, but what will happen to my home?

This is just a small chapter with the thoughts of those who had come from Camelot. For the next chapter, I might either make it my own or fast forward in the episode.

I am also starting to think about the ending of this story and what exactly is going to happen. My plans have a lot of room for improvement. I want to know what all of you want to happen. In a way, the fate of these characters is in your hands.

Finally, I was thinking about starting a small short story book. It won't really be anything special. Recently I have been writing a couple short stories based off of prompts I have found online and I want your thoughts and feedback.
