At what felt like every red light on the way to the drive in, Matt would lean across and kiss me, giving me endless pleasure and imprinting a permanent smile across my face.

A day that had started sunny and surprisingly warm for January had quickly turned cold and miserable, which only made the drive in experience more enjoyable, meaning we had to cuddle under lots of blankets. I wasn’t complaining. We were drive-in rookies, but decided the back seat would be the best place to watch from, so we could sit extra close. I only wished we had a convertible, so we could put the roof down, but even if we did, the weather was pretty relentless. I wonder how they protect the technology from the rain in this circumstance.

“I was skeptical, but this is actually pretty fun.” Matt said, pulling the door shut, returning with snacks. We were one of many cars, and he’d gone pretty much unnoticed, one benefit of being with Matt as opposed to Louis or Harry. Harry seemed to get recognized everywhere, and Louis was almost as bad but a little better at hiding.

“Chocolate?” He pulled me into his side, handing me a yorkie bar before waiting to hear my answer. Subtle.
“Always.” I take it from him, biting into it furiously and making a point of moaning at the taste.

“Good girl.” He kissed my forehead, turning his attention back to Noah on the screen.

The best thing about the weather was that it clouded other’s views of inside the car, meaning we could do practically anything and not have to worry about being seen.

Half an hour into the movie, Matt was bored. He was asleep and the faint sound of him snoring made it really hard to hear the movie, which was hard enough to hear anyway because of the rain.

“Wake uppppp.” I whine, tugging on his sleeve.

“Hm-m,” He groans, stirring slightly but instead of waking, just tightening his grip on my waist and pulling me onto his lap.
“Wake up! You’re missing the movie.” I hiss, pulling his arm off me and turning around so I’m sitting astride him instead of on his lap, shaking his shoulders.

“Fuck off.” He groans, lightly pushing me.

“If you wake up we can make out.” I bribe, running my fingers through his messy hair.

“Well okay…” His eyes open sleepily, widening at the realization I’m literally right in front of him. “Hello.” He smirks, leaning forward to close the distance between our lips.

“Hi.” I grin against his lips, closing my lips over his bottom one needily.

“This is much more interesting than a movie…” He chuckles, repositioning himself. He pulls me closer to him by placing his hands in the small of my back, turns his hips on the side and lays me down onto the back seat of the car, hovering above me.

“Ever had sex in public?” I ask, grinning up at him.

“Nope.”

“First time for everything.” I smirk, wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him down to meet me.

Not much of The Notebook was actually watched that night.

“Are you finished in the bathroom?” I ask Gab, wandering out of my bedroom slowly, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

She’s maneuvering around the kitchen, making her morning coffee and tidying up as she goes, dressed in black pants and a blue blouse that will be predominantly covered by her white coat when she gets to work.

“Yeah, doll. Go ahead. I’ll probably be gone by the time you get out but I made banana muffins that you can have for breakfast, and there’s left over chinese in the fridge for lunch.”
