"If we don't stand up for ourselves, no one will."

Cap turned around a corner quickly, doing his best to keep up with the van without being spotted. The rest of his team was in position, all he had to do was stop that van from getting anywhere near the material.

"Alright guys! We can do this!" Tony assured, and he, Rhodey and Vision flew to the falling mass and braced their hands against it. At first, Tony was nearly splattered against the large rock, but his stabilizers adjusted and his thrusters snapped on.

"You guys alright?" Rhodey asked when he also righted himself. Tony looked worriedly at Vision - who didn't have stabalizers - but he seemed to be doing fine. "Scott?" Tony asked, and saw the little guy reappear on his shoulder and give him a thumbs up. "Now or never!" Scott scrambled down Tony's arm and engaged his boots to stick to the surface of the comet.

In his head, an endless mantra of curses and screaming distracted him from the speed of which he was falling through the air.

Scott grabbed onto the giant sky rock with his hands and engaged his suit. "It's still going too fast!" He called worriedly. If he grew and then shrunk the stone with him at this rate, he'd get blown right off!

"I got it!" Wanda announced and the comet was wrapped in red energy. Scott felt it slow and quickly returned to normal size. The wind whipped around him, but it wasn't as bad as it could've been and he managed to shrink the comet and him again.

As soon as the comet was shrunken, Wanda grabbed Scott and held him in the air while Tony trapped the basketball-sized rock in a containment jar. Loud cheers sounded through the team, that was, before they heard Steve over the comms.

"Guys, we have company!" Steve grunted, dodging another swing and hitting him back. He'd held off warning the Avengers so they could focus, but now they needed to get out of there. Now he was fighting about 10 guys in strange-looking black suits. None of their skin was showing, they even wore full face masks.

"We can't let them get away!" One of the goons Steve was grappling with called to his cronies. "Yeah right!" Steve scoffed, tossing his shield and hitting the guy that broke off from the fray.

Suddenly, Wanda, Sam, Tony, Rhodey and Vision were all beside Steve. "Good job guys!" Steve praised.

oOo

Peter was getting anxious now. The rest of the Avengers still weren't back, and he could feel Natasha's nervous energy beside him. "Uh, Nat? Clint? Dr. Strange?" Peter cleared his throat when he got their attention. "I think you should go. Something might have gone wrong."

Strange was already on his feet. "Good idea." He announced, opening a portal on his right. Peter always thought that was so cool. "You sure you'll be alright?" Clint asked, ruffling Peter's hair. "Uh, yeah, I'm almost 16, rememer?" Scoffed the teenager.

Nat nodded and jumped through the portal, Clint and Strange following. Peter sat on the couch, almost worried about being alone, when his phone vibrated in his pocket. He expected it to be Ned or MJ, but it was Shuri. Peter immediately grinned and checked his messages. Shuri was requesting a video call.

"Hey, Shuri?" Peter answered, and saw her relief at seeing him. "Thank goodness you're alright! I took as scan of the comet that entered earth's atmosphere and-"

"Wait, what? How?"

"Wakanda question is that? My brother set up satelites everywhere." Shuri grinned at her own pun, and Peter facepalmed. "Alright, well, what did you find?"

"Well, I matched the compound to your DNA and found it has a strange poisonous quality towards your specific genetic makeup." She explained, and Peter nodded. "Yeah, we already knew that, thanks to Dr. Strange."

"Oh good, but there's one other thing." Shuri seemed to pull up a screen beside her. "It's been orbiting the sun for over 12 hours." She announced, and Peter leapt off the couch.

"You mean it's radioactive? And not the song!" Peter paced in panic when Shuri nodded. "Has anyone had direct contact with it yet?" She asked. "Y-yeah, the Avengers went to stop it I-I don't know they're wearing suits but..."

"It's very dangerous, even with suits! You need to wear a special vibranium-woven material - according to my calculations. But I've already worked out a basic solution that should negate the effects if delivered early enough." Shuri explained, and Peter nodded. "Great, but it's going to take me a while to get to Wakanda."

"Nonesense, I've already covered that." She winked, and Peter's eyes widened. "What did you..." before he could finish, his spidey sense went haywire and he managed to scrambled behind a door before something crashed through the window.

"Shuri!!!" Peter yelped, running back into the seating room to see something that looked suspiciously like a missile crushing the couch. "What? It's the fastest way of delivery. It's not even a missile; just a rocket device with a magnetic plate! We use them in Wakanda all the time!" She laughed, and Peter sent her an unimpressed look.

"Wakanda place do you live in, Shuri?" He smirked, and her laughing renewed at his mocking pun. "Alright, just get to work Spiderman!" She scoffed, disconnecting the call. Peter ripped open the missile to find vials of antidote the perfect size for his webshooters and... a small box. Peter opened the box to find a collection of round beads and a note from Shuri.

Stay in touch - Shuri

As soon as Peter touched the beads, they lit up purple and rolled up to his wrist, forming a bracelet. Peter tried to control his fanboying and grabbed a handful of antidote. He ran to his room, got in his suit, and loaded the antidotes in his webshooters.

And he was about to go to the site of the giant radioactive comet that could kill him. Lovely. Tony was going to kill him.

So Shuri is awesome and I love their friendship so much!!!

Also Peter will be getting knocked out far less in the future so HAVE NO FEAR!!!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments and suggestions so far, please continue!!!
