We got to a really big building. It was dark, so I didn't really know what the building was. Then I looked closer.

There was a giant parking lot. But it wasn't a parking lot. It was a runway.

We were at an airport.

Bella had realized this long before me. "Really Ch- I mean Dad? Are you taking us somewhere away from home? This is amazing! Thanks so much!" Bella was so excited. Both me and Charlie were surprised at that.

"You're welcome, Bella," he replied. He leaned over to me. "I need to take Bella places more often."

"I know, right?" I whispered back. "This might be the cure to her dep- I mean sadness!" I smiled fakely.

Ugh, I needed to stop almost spilling all of Bella's secrets if I wanted to keep more. But what if I'd actually told him?

We walked into the airport. 29 minutes until we would be able to board our plane. I looked at Bella, who was smiling.

I was thankful that Bella and I decided to bring suitcases filled with outfits and such. I was sure that we'd be staying the night somewhere. We put our suitcases on the conveyor belt and walked to the waiting area.

I was standing in the waiting area. I turned around and you won't even believe who was standing there: who scared me so much.

Edward.

I hugged him so tightly without even saying anything. He was the one who I was worried about leaving.

Tears started to form in my eyes. "I don't want to leave," I told him. "I really don't. I want to stay here with you."

"I'm sorry, Alissa," Edward replied. "You just can't, though. I want you to stay just as much as you do. But you can't."

"Do you know where I'm going?" I asked.

He leaned in and whispered: "Yes. I read Charlie's mind. But I can't tell you where, because you'd protest to Charlie, and he would find out about me. I'm sorry, but I really hope you understand."

"Just tell me," I begged him. "I won't even tell Charlie that I found out. I swear on my life. Just please tell me."

"Fine. You're going home."

"What?! No!" I started having the biggest panic attack that I'd ever had in my entire life. I couldn't leave! It just wasn't a choice for me. I wouldn't be able to survive in Arizona if Edward was in Forks.

I just couldn't process all of this right now. It was too much for me at the moment. I collapsed and fell to the ground.
