So I waz thinking of if it WOULD make sense for the turtles from tmnt 2012 to be able to still be 15 in the ENTIRE series

And u kno wat? THEY ALMOST MADE IT

So we start in September when the series begins on the turtles' birthday or "Mutation Day". Then let's skip to the Season 2 finale. Things looked cold and white so I'm guessing it's winter which would be December-February. Now to make sure it's correct for everything, let's use the latest month which is February. The turtles then mention in Season 3 that Leo regained consciousness three months after they escaped. So that'd bring us to May. So then skipping on to season 4 the turtles time travel back three months and it looks like they got settled back into their home so that means they might have traveled back to at least June. And that works out perfectly since three months after is August. And then after all that we can go back to September and the turtles would turn 15.

However, things changed in Season 5. There was a Halloween special and Halloween takes place in OCTOBER. Aka, the turtles past Mutation Day and were actually 16 for most of Season 5.

So they ALMOST got away with it. They were so close to being able to say that all the events in the series happened in a year. If that Halloween special didn't come out, IT WOULD'VE WORKED OUT
