Jimin's eyes shot open with a loud gasp for air. He sat upright so quickly that Jungkook had to lean back to avoid getting headbutted in the face.

"Thank God!" Namjoon cried, throwing his arms around his friend, "We were so worried!"

Jimin let out an insane sounding giggle and Namjoon slowly pulled away, a frown on his face.

"Jimin?"

When Jimin spoke, the voice wasn't anything like his own. It sounded distorted and guttural; like he was growling, and he wasn't even speaking the same language.

"Akhirnya aku dibangkitkan

"What the hell? What language is that?" Jungkook asked, "Jimin are you-"

Jimin turned to him, an unsettling grin on his face, "Dia tiada di sini,

"I don't under-" Jungkook was pulled away from Jimin by Yoongi, who looked angry.

"It's not Jimin. It's the Kamatayana,"

Before anyone else could say anything, Hoseok was dragging Jimin to his feet. He shoved him roughly into his desk chair and held him there.

"I need something to tie him to the chair," He said, looking over at Jungkook.

After staring at the grinning Jimin for a moment, Jungkook frowned and addressed Hoseok, "I don't exactly have rope just hanging around, Hoseok,"

"In my car," Yoongi said, yanking his keys from his pocket and tossing them to Namjoon, "In the trunk,"

"Aku takkan pergi," The growling voice came from Jimin again, and he flexed his arms a little, "Pretty little thing is mine,"

"He is not," Hoseok said, his voice strong as he kept him pinned to the chair, "Jimin is a child of God!"

The Demon speaking through Jimin's mouth laughed then, a cruel, echoing sound that made Namjoon's and Jungkook's hair all stand on end.

"Dia tidak percaya pada Tuhan. He is not God's, he is mine,"

"Whether he believes or not makes no difference", Hoseok said, tensing his muscles as Jimin began to try and stand, "He is still loved by those who are pure,"

"You can understand it?" Jungkook asked, quickly coming to Hoseok's aid.

"No, but I know what it said. They're all the same,"

"What did it say?" Jungkook grunted as Jimin earnestly started to try and get off of the seat.

"It said that Jimin doesn't believe," Hoseok cried, punning him down with all his strength, "But it doesn't matter! God believes in him!"

"He is mine!" Jimin screamed loudly, just as Namjoon crashed through the bedroom door, a long wrapped up rope in his hands. Yoongi quickly took the rope and dashed to where Jungkook and Hoseok were struggling to keep Jimin down.

He hastily wrapped the rope tightly around Jimin's body, securing him tightly to the chair. Hoseok and Jungkook stepped away, slightly out of breath. Jimin smiled once again, the horrible, echoing laugh bubbling up from his lips. Both Jungkook and Namjoon hesitated, feeling too nervous to move closer to their friend.

Yoongi and Hoseok, however, faced him unflinching, even when the demon spoke again through Jimin.

"He is mine. Kau takkan dapat dia balik. Dia takkan balik kepada kau,"

"We know you speak our language, demon," Yoongi spat at him angrily, "Use it!"

"Kau tak boleh kawal aku!"

"Malam," Yoongi said, leaning in close to Jimin's face, "Speak our language!"

"Pretty little thing told you my name," Jimin growled, a twisted smile on his face, "How?"

"Technology," Yoongi stood upright, "Tell me why you are here,"

"Followed a Bangungot," The demon grinned, "Useless creatures but make a good meal," His wide, crazed-looking eyes stared at each of them in turn, "As do humans,"

"What's that?" Jungkook asked nervously, his eyes never leaving Jimin.

"Ilocano demon. Filipino," Yoongi answered, "Tree demon,"

"That helps," Hoseok turned to Jungkook and Namjoon, "It's linked to something wooden, most likely old,"

"You mean everything in this room?" Jungkook muttered, "That doesn't help at all,"

"How were you drawn to the Batibat?" Yoongi asked the demon inside Jimin. This time, however, the demon didn't speak. Jimin just grinned widely and kept silent.

"Why doesn't Hoseok perform an exorcism?" Namjoon asked quietly as they began to search, "That would kick the demon out,"

"Not all priests can do exorcisms," Hoseok replied, "This isn't a movie. This is reality,"

---

This is reality.

Jimin couldn't open his eyes.

Reality.

This wasn't a dream?

Reality.

He couldn't move his body. It was as if he was trapped, wrapped up in layers upon layers of blankets, smothering him, making him overheat.

It was hot. It was dark. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't move.

Reality.

He wasn't in the dream anymore.

He had looked the demon in the eye.

He couldn't move!

"Help me!" He screamed as loudly as his lungs would let him, yet no sound came from his lips. He cried and yelled, but no tears fell from his eyes.

"Namjoon! Jungkook!" Nobody could hear him. He couldn't even hear his own voice.

It was dark, and his eyes wouldn't open. His mouth wouldn't speak. His ears would hear and his body would not move.

Wake up!

He couldn't even scream for help. He was trapped, locked up in some sort of dream-like state. He had no control.

This couldn't be reality.

He had to wake up.

He always woke up.

Why wouldn't he?

"Help me..."
