The Wrong Sister [Completed]

Chapter 11

"No no ! don't you dare hang up on ..." beep beep . I flung my phone on my bed and sighed in frustration . Three days ago Sade called me and asked for a few of my work documents to compare it to her's . Without question I sent it over but now whenever I try to message or call her , she won't answer and if she does , I only get "Hi, bye and no I am not acting weird."

I plopped myself onto the bed and started to think about the situation . Did she feel jealous and doesn't want to talk to me after comparing our work documents or maybe she found a better friend .

I inwardly groaned and decided I shoudn't over think the situation . I pulled my handbag over my shoulder and made my way to the mall because what better way to take your mind off of something than to go shopping .

I scanned a few stores and in the end , totaled with three shopping
One was filled with work outfits , another with causal and then the last with fancy and impressive clothes . Beginning to feel hungry I got myself some Pizza and was now currently eating while a few people stared at me . I guess they were not used to seeing a woman eat a whole box of pizza .

Just as I was about to gobble down my 5th slice my cellphone rang , The callers I.D was one I hadn't saved a name for which meant that this was the first time I got a call from this number .

"Hello good day ." I answered sweetly , A cute female voice then spoke asking if I was Cylus . She then explained that she was from James Enterprises Headquarters in NY and I was summoned to be there on Friday , two days from now .

Even though I was completely confused to why I was needed there I agreed .
Before I left the mall I tried to contact Sade to see if this was anyway her doing, but was of course  unsuccessful when her cell went to voicemail so I just left.

Pulling into the drive way I heard the most rarest noise coming from inside , laughter , Slowly opening the door I was welcomed with sight of my parents , Chloe and Nick all seated around the dinner table eating and chatting away .

"Hi dear " My father called out to me , I hid my surprised face as I was taken into a hug by my mother . " We were just having a family dinner , did you know Chloe is pregnant ?"
  
A simple eyes widen and jaw drop couldn't even reach the tip of shock I was feeling .

My eyes bulged out of it's sockets in the most unattractive way possible and I scrunched my face , but quickly plastered a face smile . I knew they were together but I didn't know in that way . I kind of feel sorry for Nick .

I looked at him to assure me what I heard was true and he nodded . I sucked in my shock and made my way over to hug Chloe but failed as she had moved away . We had our issues but I still loved her and her action there just shot me to the future , A future where she would always dislike me and I probably wouldn't even get to be in the baby's life .

From afar I congratulated them and starting to feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed , I dismissed my Mum's offer to join dinner and went to my room .

Feeling stressed about my family , my best friend and my job , I took a long soak in my bathtub and proceeded to well needed sleep .
