? POV
I am mad at her. So mad that it feels as if my blood is boiling. How could she leave alone the one person who knows what I'm up to, with a person who can read minds? She might have ruined the whole thing! In fact, I think she has. But one things for certain: no matter what information they shared, Caylie didn't tell Ashlyn about my plans. She wouldn't dare even risk it, because of her dear little friend Marissa. But she might have thought it. Which means I might, just might, have to have a little chat with Ashlyn. Make sure she keeps her mouth shut.

Kate POV

I tie Caylie's bandage even tighter. I add some gause, and hope that it'll be enough. I look over to Ashlyn. She looks pale, and I realize I have completely forgotten about her arm.

"How could I forget?" I exclaim "We need to change your bandages. Your arm-" She cuts me off.

"My arm is fine. We need to focus on Caylie's." She says calmly. She only got attacked yesterday! She must be reading my mind, because she raises her eye brows and stares at me.

"I swear." she says "If it was bugging me, I'd tell you." I grudgingly nod. She is not okay! I know she isn't. Her wound was almost as bad as Cayslie's, because it was deeper. The only reason Cailey's in worse condition is because she was out in the forest for so long. But I guess I shouldn't budge if she's feeling okay. This really has not been a good last few days when it comes to arms.

I am still not too convinced that Caylie was scratched by an animal though. The claw would have gone down her arm, not just in straight. And I don't know if it would have gone in as deep as it had.

But that definitely makes sense with what I saw. It wasn't just her in the forest! I saw her go behind Cheryl. But Cheryl got back way before. Maybe they didn't see each other. Or maybe.. Just maybe... Cheryl had something to do with it.
