*He didn't changed, my love wasn't powerful enough to change him.A monster who was mine. My monster, fortunately or unfortunately.

He's crossing all of his limits. He threatened to force me. He threatened to make me feel the worst I've ever felt. He's being the worst of him with me these days.

I can't take this anymore.

CHAPTER TWENTY

"Everything packed?" his voice came and I startled. He chuckled at my response and I smiled a little. Thank God I wasn't facing him.

'Saba, why do you even wanna hide yourself from him?'

It was her. I stood up with a shock and looked around. I recognised the voice, it really was her.

'Saba? Answer me?'

I turned my head to look around again hut there was no one in the room except me and Shehryaar.

Cuz I just don't want him to notice me for now, I don't want to talk to him right now.

I just thought inside answering the voice, answering her.

'He's at fault, but he's sorry for that Saba. Please try, let him in.'

That'll give me no good. He'll leave me soon, I know.

'No you don't Saba, you don't. And I trust him, this time all will be good just try once. Take care of yourself and him too. I'm not asking for much, just accept his friendship, he means it.'

You're saying that because he's your son, ammi. What he did, was... it was inhumane. I did not deserved that.

I replied to the voice in my mind but soon the voice was gone. I looked over at Shehryaar and he was looking back at me with strange expressions.

"What happened?" he asked examining my horrified expressions. I shook my head in reply and turned around, back to packing stuff.

Shehryaar got his discharge and now we were going home.

"No, something happened Saba, you looked freaked out, what's wrong?" he asked, concern evident in his tone.

"I'm fine, my head's just a little messed up." I said and he sighed.

"I don't think so. Something else is wrong too." he said and I pretended I didn't hear it and kept doing my work.

He cleared his throat to get my attention and I quietly gave him a look.

"Okay fine fine, I believe you. Ab aise mat ghoro, koi jurm nahi kar raha tumse puch kar (now don't stare at me like this, I didn't committed any crime asking you that)." he said and his reaction made me smiled lightly which made him smile too.

"I'm coming in a while then we'll leave." I said and he nodded.

I left the room after finishing up collecting our things from the room and packed them in two minutes. I went towards the window which had the clear view of the whole road and surroundings.

I wanted to clear my mind before we go home again. I leaned on one side of the huge window looking outside.

Accept his friendship, he means it.
