{A/N- This is literally just an angsty piece of crap I wrote for my 10 minute English challenge so it's got like only 100 words and is not very good. I changed the names around (of course) so yah, enjoy this bull crap, sorry it's so short.}

Trigger warnings:
-mentions of death (non explicit)

Ship: Klance

Lance stood at the wide gates of the cemetery. It was 11:45 on June 17th, the day before Keith's funeral. Lance's feet were stuck to the ground, eyes fixed on the intimidating rusted gates. Today he wasn't here for Keith, but tomorrow he would be. Today, he was here for himself, to gaze upon death and all it had cost. To prepare himself for the sorrows tomorrow would bring. He didn't believe he'd be able to go. To drag himself out of bed, just to weep at the corps of his boyfriend. Keith had always looked peaceful in sleep, even now in his permanent dream.

Lance wondered about the cemetery. Gazing at the gravestones. Letting the drifted souls of those long passed float around him as he simple observed. Crumpled flowers, forgotten deaths. Lance couldn't bare the thought of that happening to his sweet Keith. The one he promised he'd stay with forever. The only promise he had ever had to break.

{A/N...again- Yup I know this is shit but I think it's pretty good for 10 minutes, with three guideline cards without editing. Like everyone that I read the story out to in the class was surprised when they realised it was a gay couple. A few of them were like "that's really sad" I'm not sure if that's cause they didn't know the relationship before that line or because they thought it was sadder that they were gay?? I dunno, I'm probably overthinking it was too much cause I'm tired. Sorry to bother you bois so much.}
