|Chapter: 39|

"Sarah, why?", I asked throwing my one hand in the air as we continue walking to our literature. A bit too dramatic.

"Does your body hurt? Or anything? I swear I'll whip all their asses down if I get hold of them", she easily dogded my question.

I stopped, crossing my arms and then turn to look behind. He's still there.

"Why is Zac following us like that? Does Nick has anything to do all these? And where is he?"

Sarah sighed, "Zac is not following us,  but me. You know how much he loves me right? And about Nick. Nope he isn't playing the love cupid for us. Again, I don't have a special GPS to track his location down. In simple words the answer is no, I don't know."

I narrowed my eyes at her. She innocently smiled back. Really charming Nick, you even managed to steal my bestfriend and her loyalty from me, I thought.

After Zac and Sarah came to know about the incident, they were guilty. If Sarah wasn't in that state she was, they would have stayed with me and the possibility of whatever happened were zero. But I assured them it wasn't and I had it coming one day or the other.

If it was three weeks ago, I'd have told Sarah everything including the two cheer girls but now, I know she'll try to rip off their heads which will only provoke Nick after he finds out.

"Beep beep", Sarah faked a robotic voice.

"What's that beeping for?"

"I think my non existing special GPS just found out Nick's location", she said pointing behind my back.

I turned around and there he was in all his glory standing with Stella and her two bestfriends Kathleen Devon and Sasha Peters. Still dressed in their cheerleading dresses. He was laughing as Stella continue to talk and talk, moving her long fingers along with it. Sasha took out her phone and snapped a picture of them together before showing it to Kathleen as they giggled.

Picture perfect much.

"Jealously is a bitch."

"I-I'm not j-jealous", I instantly said back, tearing my gaze off them.

Sarah rolled her eyes pointing to my hands gripping the book to the extent that my knuckles were turning white. "Keep telling yourself that."

Loosing my grip, I started walking. I think I need to get my facts straight.

He is out of my league.

I setted down on my seat. Just flippin' through my book but not really paying a bit of interest on it. My mind kept going back to picture them together.

He has never been rude or gloomy when it comes Stella as I have noticed so far, a totally different aura he creates around her like protective, caring and happy instead. Before I thought he was close with only Zac and some boys from the team. But he is more like an open book to her. What makes her so special?

"Earth to Williams", Salvor waved his hand on my face. "Can I?", he asked.

"Sure."

He sat down on the seat next to me. "How are you feeling? You should've stayed home and rest."

"I'm alright. And you know how.."

"...much you hate missing school."

"And plus today is the last day before break starts. So I need to take down my assignments like a good student."
