"Serena, can you please pass my practical copy to Mr. Marshall. I heard there is a hot guy roaming around the campus and I'm on duty to show him around. He came with the Stanford Uni group", Kelly frantically handed me her notebook before I could even answer and ran off.

I huffed tiredly and dragged my feet unwillingly. First, I had my period this morning. Second, my dorm mate Jessica convinced me to help her brother Jacob, the former basketball captain as well as the president of student union to sort out some paper. And now, I have to find Mr. Marshall in this Goddamn huge ass campus.

"Hey watch out", I heard someone shout. It was just my rotten luck when I turn my head and got the hit of my life sending me directly to a world full of moon and stars.

The hot sun was shining bright on my face as I lay on the grass thinking, What the hell just happened?

"Are you alright Jessica's dorm mate?", I heard the same voice ask. Due to the sun on my face, I could barely open my eyes. Then, he stood shedding me from the light.

When I saw no other than Jacob clearly enjoying my state with a grin,"My soccer skills are poor, I hit it off the wrong direction." I quickly tried to stand up but stumbled back again but this time he caught me.

I pushed him away. "T-Thank you. I'm fine."

"You're the one helping me out, right?", he asked. I nodded and he handed me my books, that I dropped. "Are you free now?" He didn't even say a sorry and I frowned at his attitude.

"No. I have to finish my practicals then maybe after that we could arrange it", I said with a bored tone.

"You see I am a very busy person, you know the perks of being a captain and all", he bragged shrugging his shoulders. Right there, my temper went from 0 to 10 on the scale.

Jacob has been known for being a handsome jock and that's the reason why I kept denying to helping him but Jessica had me convince with her puppy eyes.

"Mind if we get it done now, so I could go for my practice later?", he asked raising his perfect brows.

I was about to make an excuse, but then again I have to face him sooner or later after I promised to help him. Why not now, I mean the sooner the better and no longer I have to look forward to meet him in future.

"Okay", I said with my timid voice.

The wall of silence stood between us as we walk to the student building.

"What if I tell you something to be less tense around me? I mean, you're acting as if I'll eat you up", he said laughing. Anything funny?

I rolled my eyes at him. "I'm not tense, just a little worried about my practicals", I admitted. They were harder than I thought, molecular biology was a tough major afterall.

"I see", he said thoughtfully and rubbed his chin. "Are you single?"

I stopped walking, stunned with his question. He laughed lifting his hands up. "Just a random question, don't sue me."

I smiled at him in return. "No, I have a boyfriend", I said proudly, as I thought of Nick.

"Ah, that smile. You really love him, don't you?"

Instantly my face dropped turning red. How foolish I must have look smiling like that. I didn't answer and concentrate more on the tiles underneath my feet as we continue to walk again. Of course I love him, more than anything. That doesn't mean I have to go around telling people.
