St. Gabriel is a messenger for God. He appeared to Daniel and is described as looking like a man. He spoke to Daniel while he was sleeping and after his first visit, Daniel became tired and sick for days.

He is described as an angel of the lord when he appeared to Zacharias and appeared to Mary, Our Lady (Chapter 2) as well.

He is clothes in blue or white, carries a lily, a trumpet, a shining lantern, a branch from Paradise, a scroll, or a scepter. He's usually drawn in the scene of the Annunciation.
