Chapter 10

"So much for this being good for us!" an angry Dana exclaimed rather loudly, her voice almost raising above the crowd of the great hall had it not been for the buzz of chatter around them. Honey looked up from her book she had found in a small shop in Hogsmeade after the meeting during the weekend to see what all the fuss was about.

She hummed in question, almost raising her arms in defence when Dana even more furiously than before shoved the leaflet into her hand. it was half scrunched into a mess of paper, ripped at the side and Honey was sure it was because of Dana's forceful grip on the parchment - it was readable regardless.

"Wait-" Honey frowned, her shoulders soon slumped over. She scanned the parchment more than once, "All student organisations, societies, teams, groups and clubs are henceforth disbanded- can they do that?!"

"I don't know!" Dana all but shrieked, "but it bloody looks like it. This isn't far - this was our first real chance at learning something proper...for real and it's out the window!"

"Not yet, it's not!" Honey grumbled angrily, standing suddenly and quickly shoving her book into her bag. Her eyes scanned the Gryffindor table, and she had soon decided that they were going to break into the common room in order to find Harry or Hermione or Ron - someone they could talk to.

This was their last chance to get a decent teacher. It was apparent that Harry knew what he was talking about regardless of if he was humble, and Honey wasn't going to let her only chance at lessons for the real world to slip from her fingers.

Before they could hurry out of the great hall, she caught sight of the messy black hair rounding the corner and almost sighed in relief - "Harry!"

"Suppose you saw the leaflet, then?" the boy asked, scratching his head and Honey could only nod once a crowd of familiar faces hurried towards him.

"Do you reckon she knows!" someone shouted through the crowd, earning a harsh 'shh' from Honey.

"What are we going to do?!"

"Why don't we all give Harry some room first!" Honey ordered, clapping her hands demandingly, and soon did the crowd part in two - allowing Harry through and for the crowd to follow him to the Gryffindor table.

Honey fell onto a seat at the Gryffindor table just beside Dana when Fred and George hurried over. Hermione was scolding people from the group to sit at their own tables so as to not make it look any more suspicious than it actually was and Honey couldn't agree more.

Of course, that didn't stop her from sitting at the Gryffindor table - she thought, in fact, that it would look even more suspicious for her to sit at her own table.

"We're going to do it anyway, of course," said Harry. His voice was merely a whisper, hushed and cautious as he looked around the hall for any sign of Umbridge.

"Knew you'd say that!" George beamed, excitedly patting Harry's arm who in turn looked around once more. Fred took the seat beside Honey, asking more questions about who would join them If that included the prefects.

Honey had zoned out just previous to their conversation, only hearing Ron when he said, "and no one looks very spotty."

"Spotty?" Honey repeated, eyebrow raised and turning with furrowed brows, "what?"

"Hermione jinxed the list of signatures. If anyone snitches - they'll get a face full of acne!"

Honey's eyes widened, as did Dana who looked rather afraid, "fucking hell."

"That's brilliant!" Honey whispered. Hermione looked triumphant, smiling brightly.

"Better than brilliant, it's genius!" Dana praised excitedly, "can you teach me that? I'm not very good with jinxes - Honey's better but she's too proud!"
