Adam POV

"Come on! That wasn't even a fair shot!" I yelled at the tv . I was rewatching the basketball game because I didn't finish it yesterday, and honestly .. I should have just took a nap .

I sighed as I made my way downstairs to get a snack . I grabbed a bag of cheese puffs from the cabinet as I heard the front door open .
I turned to see who it was . Of course it was Hanna . I missed her , she's been working at the hospital a lot now . They never give my baby a break 🙄.
We barely get to spend time together and just enjoy each others company cause they work her so much. She can work form 7:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the morning . Waaaay too much !
I smiled as I made my way over to her .

"Hey babe ." I greeted her . Her back was turned to me she was taking her shoes off . When she turned to face me I became worried .
Her face was stained with tears , her eyes had huge bags under them , her lips were chapped and her face was pale. She was worn out .

Awh Hell nah .

"yo what the hell?" I semi yelled grabbing her face as I examined her once more. She fell into my arms groaning as I picked her up carrying her up stairs.
I gently laid her in our bed as she turned on her Side closing her eyes.
I just looked at her as anger filled me and I shook my head . I was fed up , they are wearing her down day by day and she obviously can't take much more . She needs a break . She works her ass off in that hospital and they don't cut her any type of slack . She's probably the Doctor they have .

"Hanna ... why do you let them work you like this? ! Look at you !" I yelled rubbing her back .

She shakes her head . " Adam .. I'm fine ." She croaks barely audible . I shake my head . "No .. no your not. You look horrible . This shit should be illegal! You need some rest. " I say kissing her head .

Just then an idea pops into my head .
I began to remove her shirt and scrubs . Leaving her in her underwear and bra . I stand her up as she looks at me confused . I walk her to our master bathroom and sit her in the char by the jacuzzi .
I began to run water in the bathtub . I add a vanilla scented bath bomb and some crystals . I light the candles that circle then tub as I escort her over . She takes off her last pieces of clothing stepping in . Once she submerged herself completely she sighs in relief .
This is what she needs .

"How is it baby . Is the water ok ?" I ask softly . She nods tiredly . I bring the chair over to the tub as I caress her head softly. Running my fingers through her wet hair. I cupped some water in my hand running it over the soft skin of her back , since she was turned on her side facing the wall . She smiled lightly .

"I really hate seeing you like this .. you need to call in and ask for the week off . Or I'll do it my damn self . " I said sternly .
She giggled as she turned her head towards me opening her eyes . "I know Adam I know but .. I love my job I do it's just .. sometimes it gets hard . I just sit at my desk and cry . The pressure they put on us is intense . I'm never not working ." She admits looking at me .
I just admired the way the glow of the candles reflecting on the water make her skin shimmer . She looks so peaceful and gorgeous. Hanna is my world and she knows I would do anything to see her happy . I tell her these things because I care. I would hate for something to happen to her , I like to see her happy and healthy because that's how I stay happy .

"I understand Hanna and that's ok, but it's also ok to be tired . It's ok to need a break from working ... from life . You do so much and I'm truly proud of you , your a strong women and everyone can see that . You don't have to beat yourself up to show it ." I chuckled earning a sweet giggle from her .
"Yea your right .. maybe I should take the week off.... stay home with you and cuddle all day . " she smiled .
"Now that sound like a plan. " I bit my lip as I leaned down to kiss her passionately. When we release I gazed at her for a minute or two long considering she said something. "What are staring at boy?" She laughed laying her hand on my check , the warm water making me sigh .
"You fine as hell." I said in awe making her laugh.
"I love you." I smiled making her blush .
"I love you more Adam . Thank you for being my rock ... my bestfriend, just my everything. Don't know what I would do without you . " she smiled closing her eyes .

I love Hanna . She's been my bestfriend through whatever .. she always had my back . And as he boyfriend I will always do the same for her . Now I should probably go call her job . I became excited thinking about what I would be doing all weekend with her at home with me . ♥️
