Sooo by now you've likely heard about Defy fucking all of our beloved Smosh and Smosh Games fam (along with Clever, Warp Zone, and so many other fucking talented people) right up their assholes RIGHT BEFORE THE FUCKING HOLIDAYS. MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS ARTISTS WHO HAVE DEVOTED YEARS TO THEIR FANS AND THEIR PASSION. Whew sorry I'm livid and I'm sick so I have a lot of pent up emotions because LiFes JuSt FuCkInG GrEaT! But seriously anger aside there gonna get through this. They're loved by SO MANY people and I have a lot of hope and trust that this is just a bump in the road and that somebody (hopefully a lot less crooked and shady than Defy) will see that and pick them up and help them grow back to the empire that they worked so damn hard to become. For now we just need to not panic and stick together (coming from a girl with an anxiety disorder i KNOW that it wont be easy but we can do it). For a lot of people, myself included, Smosh has always been there and it will continue to be there for us I just know it. For now, as Anthony so eloquently put, I just don't want our favorite talented people to get screwed over by a company who took advantage of two young adults who didn't know what they were signing up for. So please take a deep breath, binge watch their old masterpieces, read some fics (im currently rewriting Shouldn't and two more chapters of this which should go up by the new year/end of the month sneaky plug for you), and wait for someone to see what AMAZING people they are.
