"That sounds brilliant Miss Carara, the project will be honoured to have you, thank you again."

I smiled even though the lady on the phone couldn't see it.

"It's not a problem, Goodbye."

After the conversation with the lady at the centre, I headed to the dining area. Olga had signalled me moments before the calls end to tell me dinner was ready so when I sat down, everyone else had begun tucking in.

I joined them and we all sat in silence for a while, all of us enjoying our meal.

After a while, the silence was broken by Violetta.

"Angie, I was supposed to ask you earlier about the show." says Violetta slyly.

"What about it?" I said, confused by her strange behaviour.

"Well, they've started these ticket deals, which means, you can't buy a single ticket. They do family ticket's or couple ticket's or friend tickets."

She spoke so fast, I struggled to comprehend her words. When I did, I sighed.

Violetta feels bad about mentioning this becase she knows the only ticket  I'd be able buy would be the couple ticket and I'm still single. I've had one boyfriend in the last few years but it didn't really work out, his name was Pablo and he was the director of the Studio when I first enrolled Violetta there. He left his position about six months into our relationship.

As he left the studio, he left me.

I don't know where he went, but I did now that he was gone.

He's the only person I've ever truly loved and even three years on, Violetta knows that mentioning the couples ticket and the studio will bring back bad memories. It's frustrating that she feels she has to do this to protect me, so I shrugged it off to show I was strong.

I wasn't.

"Not an issue, just get me a couples ticket and I suppose I'll have to get myself a boyfriend." I said raising my eyebrows, hoping I was convincing.

Violetta smiled, "Really? You're going to start dating again?"

For sixteen, she can be so grown up.

"Sure, why not?" I said as I once again hid my feelings.

Violetta ran over and hugged me.

"Well, the show is 62 days away, so you have plenty of time!"

I smiled, although I doubt it was convincing.

"Perfect."

Violetta smiled but then frowned.

"Actually, we need a shorter deadline."

"Why?" I said confused.

"Well, my birthday is not long before the show, so... why don't you try and get a boyfriend before then?" Violetta smiled again. It means so much to her that I try again and I don't want to let her down.

"Sure, " I  said breaking, "How long will I have then?"

Violetta ponders this for a moment, most likely doing the maths in her head.

"Starting tomorrow, you have 50 days."
