IT WAS THE FOLLOWING AFTERNOON and we all decided it would be a good day to go to the beach and just try to forget about what had happened last night. I, of course, had invited Chelsea to join us and she couldn't say yes fast enough. I then put on my bathing suit and a pair of jean shorts to cover up a little bit more til we got there. We were then all ready to go and got into my car, I driving and Chelsea sitting shotgun. I knew David hated not driving, but he can deal for a few minutes. We arrived about fifteen minutes later and all got out of the car, setting up by the water.

"I'm going in now, anyone coming?" I questioned and took off my shorts, throwing my hair up into a bun to try and keep it dry. David's head then perked up and he smirked.

"I'll race you!" he screamed and took off. I gasped and raced behind him, jumping onto his back once I got the chance. We then fell onto the ground with a laugh, David coming back over and picking me up, throwing me over his shoulder with a smirk, "That was a bad idea," he chuckled and threw me into the water with a laugh. I then decided to get him back, pretending I couldn't swim. Dave then rushed over to help me with a sorry look on his face, but I just put my hands on his head and pushed him under the water. I started to laugh once he came back up with a grin on his face.

"That was a bad idea," I mocked him, making him splash me, "Water is actually pretty warm," I said to him after a few moments of silence, he nodded his head and slicked his hair back with the water, trying to keep it out of his face. I couldn't help but stare at him a little bit, he looked really good today.

"I don't think my thirteen-year-old sister really wants to see her older sister acting like that with her idol," I joked and David's face softened from the word 'idol', "All she did, even before I got to LA was talk so highly of you," I explained and he smiled a little bit, "Can't believe she would lie to me like that," I joked with him, making him splash me with water once again. Soon after everyone else was in the water, swimming around, talking, just having fun. I was happy to see all of my friends here being supportive like this, it was different for me.

"Jade is on her way now, she stayed with Jason and Trish last night," Zane said to us and I nodded my head, waiting for them to get here. I then felt someone jump onto my back, it is Chelsea. I then stood up and turned over, throwing her into the water, everyone laughing at her reaction when she stood back up. Soon after, I saw Jason heading down towards us with Trish, his kids, and Jade. I smiled and got out of the water, giving them all a hug, and introducing myself to his kids, Charlie and Wyatt.

"Hi, I'm Stella, nice to meet you guys," I smiled and they waved back, asking Jason if they could go into the water now. He, of course, said yes and they ran right into the water with everyone else. I then walked with Jason and Trish for a little while, getting to know them a little bit more. I always knew they were incredibly nice, but knowing them personally was a completely different story.

"Ella! Come back!" I heard Dave yell behind us with a smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile and excuse myself from Jason and Trish, jogging back over to the group, "We're going to go get ice cream, do you want to come?" he questioned and I nodded my head, grabbing my wallet to pay for Chelsea and I. We went up to the ice cream place, ordering everything we wanted at the window. I ordered mine and Chelsea's orders separately, handing it over to Chelsea once it was done, a smile on my face once I saw her eyes light up. I grabbed mine from the worker and went to hand her the cash, but saw David's hand above mine. I gasped and shoved him back a little, putting my money on the register so she would take mine and not his. She handed me back my change and I thanked her, tipping her a dollar or two and heading to go sit with the group at one of the benches the shop had laid out.

"So, are you on summer vacation Chelsea?" Kristen asked her and she nodded her head, finishing that bite of ice cream.

"Yeah, I only finished school like a week ago, I go back August 29th," she explained and we all nodded our head, "How did you guys meet my sister?" Chelsea asked and I chuckled.

"Remember my friend, Gabbie?" I questioned, Chelsea nodded her head, "She introduced me to David at a party a few weeks ago, and then I met the rest of his friends a few days later," I explained and Chelsea nodded her head, finishing the rest of her ice cream, "I'm gonna head back to the water," she explained and thanked me for the ice cream, leaving us where we were.

"She seems to be doing okay," Zane sighed and I shrugged my shoulders.

"She's usually as loud as I am, she cried a lot last night, it drained her in all honesty," I explained and they all nodded their heads, deciding to drop the conversation.

"Dave, do you know if Dom and Jade are still a thing?" I questioned and he nodded his head.

"She's at the apartment everytime I go there," he explained and I rolled my eyes, waiting for her to realize that dating Durte Dom was a horrible idea. A very horrible idea, "You should try and talk her out of it, I love Dom and all, but he's not good for her," Dave explained and I shook my head instantly.

"Nope. Last time I tried to help her I ended up at your place," David then shrugged his shoulders. We all then finished our ice cream and headed back to the beach, finding Jade flirting with the lifeguard; Jason and Trish sitting on the sand, all while Chelsea, Wyatt, and Charlie all played in the water together. I sighed and took a seat on my towel I had laid out, everyone now going off to do their own thing. Putting on my sunglasses, I pulled out a book and decided to read in the meantime. A few minutes into reading, I felt some tap my shoulder. It was Dave.

"Why don't we sneak off for a second?" Dave whispered to me, catching me off guard. I looked at him confused and nodded, packing up my stuff. Scott and Kristen apparently agreed to keep an eye on Chelsea while we left, since she wasn't ready to head back yet. I looked at David quite confused when we got into the rental car, realizing he was driving back to the hotel. We got up to our room, and I was amazed. David had the room set up to watch a movie, but it was more than that. There was a projector on the wall, lights strung up around the room, and a basket full of snacks and drinks for us.

"Awe! David!" I managed to say out loud with a big smile, "This is so sweet of you!" I then gave him a hug, wrapping my arms around his torso, "Let me get changed," I explained and he nodded his head, letting me take a quick shower and throw on some comfy clothes before joining him on the floor he had this all set up on.

"So, figured we could do a How I Met Your Mother or Friends marathon because that is all you watch," he chuckled and I smiled, shrugging my shoulders.

"We can do whatever," I said, pulling out my phone and taking a video of him for my snapchat, "Thank you, Dave, really, this is so sweet," I explained and he shrugged it off as if it was nothing.

"Don't sweat it, you've had a bad few days, it was the least I could do for you," he explained, looking over at me, "Just promise me you'll make sure you're okay when you come home, alright?" he smiled and I nodded my head, thanking him once again.
