I had told George about everything I had discussed with my uncle the day before. George told me he thought I should stay in London, but I still wasn't completely convinced. Mostly because if I stayed in London, it seemed like I'd be going backwards instead of forwards.

There was almost no chance I'd be able to get over George if all I had to do was ride an elevator down to see him like I had today.

"Another cup?" George asked politely holding up the tea kettle, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"No thanks." I smiled, I had already had four cups of tea this morning while we talked.

"Mo and I are going to lunch." Ringo informed us as he and Maureen emerged from his room dressed up.

"Have fun." I spoke turning in my chair to be able to see the two of them clearly.

"We will." Maureen smirked looking back to Ringo who was smiling back at her with his eyebrows cocked. Maureen waved before the both of them walked out the front door hand in hand.

"What time is it?" I asked, my eyes widening in sudden realization of how long I've spent in their flat talking to George.

"Quarter to twelve." He answered looking at his wrist watch.

"I should go, I'm supposed to meet Victor for lunch. This was so lovely, thank you." I nodded my head with a grin grabbing my bag from the ground and standing up.

"I-I can drive you." George insisted abruptly as I scrambled to get my bag on my shoulder, his face slightly serious before smiling once he saw my attention shifted to him.

"Oh, I don't want to make you go out of your way." I shook my head.

"It's not, I was going that way anyway." George nodded with a grin.

"Alright." I cracked a small smile knowing I hadn't even told him which direction the restaurant was.

George smiled triumphantly.

He walked me out of the flat to his car, and we departed for the restaurant Victor and I had decided on after I had gotten the chance to tell George where it was.

"How long have you been seeing, him?" George asked keeping his eyes fixed to the road as he drove.

"This is our first date." I admitted holding my breath, feeling slightly awkward talking about it with George.

He nodded and continued to drive in silence until we had arrived. He stopped the car on the side of the road in front of the restaurant.

"Thank you for the ride George." I smiled looking over to him from the window where my attention had previously been consumed, seeing that his face was now very near to as he leaned over the console.

His eyes flicked down to my lips for a moment then back to my eyes.

"I'll see you soon." He smiled exposing his fang like teeth.

My eyes became fixated on his lips as I inhaled his scent, smelling no smoke to my content, but instead very heavy smell of sandalwood.

I smiled to myself, my lips parting slightly as I watched a his smug smile drop slightly.

I rose my eyes to his, seeing he was watching me very intently, his breathing becoming heavy. With a sly grin I mindlessly brushed a piece of his long hair away from his eyes gently.
