Chapter 26 : Four Great Empire's Tournament (2)

Today was the day of the Four Great Empire's Tournament.

The streets are crowded and bustling with people, the sellers are shouting all the time to attract people and the people were all going to one direction, to the place where the Four Great Empire's Tournament was held, the Pandemonium.

Pandemonium was a battle arena where all cultivators challenged each other and because of all the chaos that always breaks out, it was called Pandemonium. This year the Tournament was held in this place so many participants and spectators from all the different empires came here to watch the show and wondering who will be the victorious one this year.

The arena was made of tiles of marble in the shape of a square but only simple marble wasn't enough to resist the cultivator's strength so it was strengthened by transferring the spirit power around them, into the marble, making it hundreds of times stronger.

At the corners of the arena were four huge rocks with reinforced chains around them and connected with each other around the arena and at the middle of the square was a bigger rock with the letter '斗'* in the middle and it was emanating red lights.

The big rocks are used to create a barrier that envelopes the entire arena with spirit power.

A man walked on the arena, he was an elderly man with a strong aura. He had white long hair and had eyes that expressed his wisdom. He looked around to see how many people were already here with half-opened eyes and then closed his eyes and slightly raised his chin to feel, with his spiritual energy, how many people were coming from outside the Pandemonium and then he felt an aura ten times, no...hundred times stronger than his and she was followed by other two powerful experts. His face paled a bit when he felt her strength.

Immediately his face paled even more because she noticed him and a surge of power crashed towards him through his spiritual energy.

He felt her spiritual energy, it was more powerful than his even if she only used a small amount of her powers and just that small amount had a domineering power so strong that made even him want to kneel.

His body trembled while resisting the domineering strength of the girl and then he moved his right hand and using his middle and index finger he hit his heart with his spiritual energy to expel the force of the girl inside of him.

After he felt better he was sweating cold sweat. Just what was she?

He was scared of her and the only thing he hoped for is that she isn't their enemy.

Meanwhile, in the bustling streets, Nalan Xi was walking towards the Pandemonium, when she felt someone's spiritual energy drifting in the air.

She didn't really care about it but then he started to examine her and she felt uncomfortable so she taught him a lesson.

But she doesn't want to see that man otherwise...hehe~
