In Love With My Best Friend

chap 3 ; unpacking

we were finally done packing.

except for three more boxes. but aside from that. everything seems perfect.

everything's in place.

the kitchen utensils.

furniture.

everything was there.

but the walls look so boring and dry.

so me and jake decided to paint the walls in a happy color, because we're here to be happy.

i went in the kitchen and saw jake sitting down looking at some paint samples.

i sat right next to him.

the colors he had on his hands were all neon colors like ;

yellow

green

blue

pink ( i don't even know why he has those colors )

"so have you picked a color yet?" i say as i was looking through the samples

"i was actually waiting for you. so that we could discuss it, cause you know, this is OUR *pointing at both of us* apartment" jake says

"okay. well how about this pink neon color? it stands out with the furniture" i say holding the pink sample

jake - "well yeah, it's nice and all. but the furniture is mostly brown and black, it doesn't stand out. and it's not my color" he chuckles

me - "sorry" i chuckled.

jake - " how about the yellow one. it's a really happy color, like smiley faces, black and yellow will go perfect together with the furniture"

i thought about it.
that honestly doesn't sound that bad.
and yellow is one of my top 5 colors.
so why not.

me - "yeah, why not. that would be perfect" i say and smile at him

jake - "okay. so do you want to come with and get the paint, or should i go by myself?"

me - "you should go by yourself"

jake - "well jeez, what an awesome bestfriend" he said in a sarcastic tone

me - "hey. there's still 3 more boxes that are not unpacked yet. i'll unpack while you go get the paint. got it?"

jake - "got it"

jake went up to me and hugged me.

jake - "I'LL BE BACK!" he said while heading to the door.

me - "BRING BACK FOOD!" i yelled back.

i'm pretty sure he heard me.

i went to the 3 boxes and started unpacking.

the first box was just a box filled with books, i guess this was my box. cause i love reading and i need to study before college starts.

so i went to the book - shelf which was next to the fireplace and put the books in there.

i went back and started unpacking the second box.

i'm guessing the second box was jake's own because it has his xbox 360, his 4 controlers, and his games.

so i went and put that in his side of the bed.
cause for now we had to share the same bed.

i went back to the last box.

when i opened it.

the box revealed something i wasn't expecting...

i'll be updating the other 2 chapters tomorrow.
