-On Entrance Exam day-

"Siiiiis! Wake up! Today's the day you take your entrance exam for U.A." A young brown haired girl said as she entered her older sister's room. The older Shimizu groaned loudly.

"10 more minutesssss."

The young Shimizu pouted and looked over at her older sister, who was still sleeping. She stomped over to her bed and quickly smacked her sister's face, hard. This made the pink haired girl open her golden brown eyes and pressed a hand on her cheek.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

The young Shimizu smirked and skipped to the door. "Mama said you have 30 minutes to get ready." she informed, exiting the room. The Afro-Japanese girl sat up on her bed and squinted at the doorway. "God, I hate her sometimes..." she muttered as she rubbed her now bruised cheek. She sighed and got up out of her bed and stretched. "Well, she is right. I gotta get ready." she mumbled. With that, the older Shimizu exited her room and into the bathroom.

A few minutes of doing her daily necessities, Reina ran down the steps and towards the door. "You're not eating breakfast?" her younger sister asked, running up to her. The older sister turned her head and smiled. "Nah, too excited to eat anything. But once the exam is over, I'll grab a bit or something." she stated, slipping on her shoes. "Ah..." the younger Shimizu said. Suddenly, the older sibling felt a soft pat on her head.

"Good luck today, sweetie." a soft voice said. The pink haired girl turned around and looked up at her mother. She couldn't help but smile. " Thanks mom!" she chirped as she turned back around.

"Well, I'm off!" Reina said as she zoomed out the door.

-At U.A-

The young girl stopped and looked up at the building in front of her. Her golden eyes sparkled in excitement. "All I gotta do is ace this entrance exam...no need to worry, right?" she whispered.

"You should really worry about this, Shimizu." a voice warned.

The pinked haired girl yelped as she turned around quickly. She immediately blinked and gasped.

"Kaname?! You applied to U.A, too?!" Reina asked incredulously. The teal haired girl nodded. "Duh. I wouldn't be here if I didn't." she smiled. The young Shimizu smiled and quickly hugged her only friend from middle school.

"Kanameeee~!" she chirped while rubbing her cheek against her's. "It would be awesome if we both got accepted into U.A." she giggled. The orange eyed girl glanced over at the pink haired girl. "Did you not hear what I just told you? You should really be worried, Reina!" she exclaimed, moving the Afro-Japanese girl away from her. The pink haired girl tilted her head. "Why?" she asked. Kaname sighed. "I heard that U.A has a low acceptance rate." she informed. The pink haired girl looked down. "Oh yeah... that is a thing..." she muttered. The orange eyed girl placed her hands on her hips. "You forgot about that?! Reina, you can't forget about something like that." she exclaimed. The Afro-Japanese girl giggled sheepishly. "I got so excited that I forgot.. heh." she mumbled. Kaname sighed and turned around.

"Whatever, let's just get going."

"R-Right!"

-Inside U.A-

The two girls sat quietly as the the lights turned on.

"What's up, U.A candidates! Thanks for tuning in to me, your school DJ! C'mon, lemme hear ya!" the Pro Hero, Present Mic exclaims while moving his hand to his ear and leaning towards the audience. The pink haired girl snickered as Present Mic's shaky arms shrugged. "Keeping it mellow, huh? That's fine, I'll just skip straight to the main show." he stated.

"Let's talk about how this practical exam is gonna go down. Are you ready?!" Present Mic exclaims. Again, there was more silence. The pink haired Shimizu snickered once again. "I'd never thought that I would meet a hero this funny." she admitted. The teal haired girl sighed. "Reina, please take this seriously." she muttered.

"Like your applications said, you rockin' boys and girls will be out there conducting 10 minute mock battles in suburban settings!" Present Mic exclaims. "After I drop the mic here, you all will go to your specified battle centers!" the loud hero exclaims. The two girls blinked and looked down at the index card in front of them. They both grabbed their card and flipped it over.

"Battle Center A/C.." each girl mumbled. The, they looked at each other. "Looks like we won't be working together on this one." The orange eyed girl smiled sadly. The Afro-Japanese girl nodded. "Yeah...But I wish you luck from afar!" she smiled, giving her friend a thumbs up.

"Ok, ok! Let's check out your targets!" Present Mic started. "There's three types of faux villains in each area. You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty." Present Mic explained.

"Ah! Almost like a video game, then!" The pink haired girl chirped as her eyes sparkled.

"You're goal is the crush these villains like a guitar solo!" Present Mic compared happily. " But check it, make sure you keep things heroic! Attacking another examinee of U.A is a no-no!" he explains.

"Excuse me, but I have a question." a voice states. Present Mic points his finger at the student. "Hit me!"

"On the printout, you listed four types of villains, not three. With all respect, if this is an error on U.A material, then it is shameful!" the student started. "We are exemplary students. We expect the best from Japan's most notable school. A mistake such as this won't do." he finishes as he turns around towards another student.

"And you with the unkempt hair." he says as he points at a boy with dark green hair. The boy blinked and pointed at himself. "You've been muttering this entire time. Stop that. If you can't bother to take this seriously, then leave! You're distracting the rest of us!" the prestigious boy says. This causes the dark green haired boy to widen his eyes and cover his mouth. "Sorry!" he mutters. Reina couldn't help but laugh at the incident.

"Alright, alright Examinee #7111! Thanks for calling in with your request!" Present Mic said, giving the prestigious boy a thumbs up. "The 4th villain type is worth zero points! That guys is just an obstacle we'll be throwing in your way. There's one in every battle area. Think of is as a hurdle you should avoid. It's not like you can't compete! It's like...there's no point. I recommend that you all should ignore it and focus on the ones that's worth points!" Present Mic explained. The prestigious student bowed his head. " Thank you very much. Please continue." he said as he sat down.

"That's all I got for you today! I'll sign off with a little present: a sample of our school motto!"

As everyone stayed silent to hear the school motto, the pink haired examinee blinked and stared down at her lap. 'All I gotta do is touch those bots for as long as I can since I don't have any physical strength quirk...Let's see how this works out.'

"Shimizu?" a voice said as fingers snapped in front of her face. The Afro-Japanese girl blinked her golden eyes and looked up at her friend. "Huh?" she asks dumbfounded. "It's time to go, dork." Kaname said, extending her hand. The pink haired girl grabbed her friend's hand and smiled.

"Let's go!"

-Battle Center A-

The bubbly pink haired girl looked up at the door anxiously.

'All I gotta do touch them as long as I can.. that's all I gotta do.' she kept thinking.
